Zoom in alittle, if it's not 1:1 it will scale the pixels at odd ratios and create trippy patterns.
Same thing happens when you view it full screen but not on a 1080p monitor (the video, not the picture).
For comparison check this video that is also 1080p but uploaded early in the year. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ne0XDTHD0u0 I wish I did it like the one above but basically the lines move down and when it hits that odd line Youtube assumes it's a field and removes it and then duplicates the others to make it 1080p again. [editline]24th September 2011[/editline] Zoom in alittle, if it's not 1:1 it will scale the pixels at odd ratios and create trippy patterns.
I did zoom in, It's a grid but it still fucks with my eyes.
Yea, since the player is trying to fit it to your resolution it chooses various lines of pixels to squeeze together making odd patterns. Sometimes it's funky. When viewing it on my 1600p monitor it looks like it's moving up. It's one of those illusions where you can see both it moving down and going up together. It hurt.

I still don't get how that one could possible be rotating two ways. I'll update when I... get.... iiiiitttttttttt AOjfIFJAOIFHAO{IFHNAOIFNA
I can percieve that spinning both ways, it's crazy, just tell your self it's going left to roght to left and stare at the foot.. after a while you'll be able to swith whenever.
Yeah if you think hard enough and look at the foot it swaps over, then you can look back up at the girl and she'll be spinning whichever way you saw it as
Having a debate with someone that HDMI is pretty much the same exact quality as DVI, only HDMI carries sound. The other person thinks HDMI is higher quality then DVI not counting sound. Which one is right?
Both are digital. That's the answer. More so though, HDMI or DVI might use different color spaces, but given that you have really simply HDMI to DVI and DVI to Hdmi, I see no reason why that would be the case.

However depending on the area, electrical interference, and the Graphics card, system, and screen. It depends which ones is better. Gotta try both.
... That sounds like the biggest bunch of bullshit I've ever read
... That sounds like the biggest bunch of bullshit I've ever read
Example? They could've went cheap on the DVI in the construction of your card.
Hell you're more likely to get a lower quality with HDMI, if it's 1.1 or lower DVI is going to thrash it. [editline]24th September 2011[/editline]
Example? They could've went cheap on the DVI in the construction of your card.
A connector wouldn't make a difference. It's a digital signal, doesn't matter if you use gold or silver plating the quality is not going to differ.

Or for that matter, the construction of the screen, or cable?
So I'm 100% wrong and the construction of the card plays no difference in the quality?
DVI And HDMI would come from the same outputs. So if you're going to get shit quality you're going to get shit quality.
So I'm 100% wrong and the construction of the card plays no difference in the quality?
It's a digital signal, it either works or it doesn't work.
It's a digital signal, it either works or it doesn't work.
Odd. I've had digital signals give weird responses like artifacting of sound and video. Yet I put in different cables, and the signal is fine.
Odd. I've had digital signals give weird responses like artifacting of sound and video.
That's probably the output. It could have a shit encoder.
uhh maybe because the cable was bad that counts under "doesn't work" or what wingless said
That's probably the output. It could have a shit encoder.
And there's no way someone would construct different outputs for the cables?
And there's no way someone would construct different outputs for the cables?
No, because that would be a complete waste of money. DVI and HDMI are signal compatible. [editline]24th September 2011[/editline] Unless you're buying ricer shit.

[editline]24th September 2011[/editline] Unless you're buying ricer shit.
Okay, I get it. I'm wrong. :v: But I still swore I saw a difference in quality on Scoot's screen. Edit: I swear to god if Scoot starts dancing I'm going to scream.
...
...
(Warning, loud.) [editline]24th September 2011[/editline] Though it's still... Zeriga: 176. Cait: 5.
lies, I'm afraid you got them mixed up you: 5 me: 176

apparently how many times he's proved me "wrong"??
What's this?
Well. Scoot's real name is Cait, sorry. And we've had a lot of problems in the past. Mostly her fault, hopefully she'll be honest and admit up to that. If she doesn't (and lies about it) I'll spill the whole story. ^That mostly ended in fights that I've proven my point over.
I officially have no idea what's going on here.
