In other news: Overkill Machine. Linus only has an iPhone. [editline]26th September 2011[/editline]
It's funny because he still uses the stock cooler in the final pc :v:
He was only booting up to test it, no reason to spend the time installing an aftermarket cooler. [editline]26th September 2011[/editline]
@2:00, he says 49150MB = 49GB. He actually thinks he magically got a free GB from somewhere :v:
He just didn't think of it at the time. He does enough computer work to know that it's 8192mb modules.

I didn't expect him to use the card, in fact I thought it would be immediately burnt. [editline]27th September 2011[/editline] You fucking :ninja:

[editline]26th September 2011[/editline] I think he added the sticker to bug all the people bitching at him of unboxing Apple products and Mac (and Mac/PC) accessories. So, today at work was quite easy, but my fingers are totally busted after installing 40x2GB RAM modules + 20 Quadro GPUs :v:
What do you do at work? General tech work at some company.
Yup. It's a pretty nice place. They even have a fridge with free cola, and a coffee / hot chocolate milk machine. Which also is free ofc. Also, the guy that gives me orders and stuff told me that I'd probably also get an e-mail address from them. I jokingly said "If it works with dreamspark, I'm happy". He then chuckled. :v:

Yeah, it is :smug: [editline]26th September 2011[/editline] And it was pretty funny how I just had to throw out the anti-static bags and driver discs for the graphics cards in the trash :v: Also, the RAM they had was in a 50 pack, which was quite interesting.
He was only booting up to test it, no reason to spend the time installing an aftermarket cooler.
No he did an earlier video with the same 590's, where a 980x had the stock cooler on :v:
I just discovered that the age of mythology soundtrack is on spotify :orgasm:
My third monitor is coming today. : \ such a lack of emotion.
My third monitor is coming today. : \ such a lack of emotion.
Plug them all in at once and do some videos like that. ULTRA WIDESCREEN GAMING !!

Spotify removed the listening time limits. Still has the 5-time limit thought
Running badblocks -nv on my HDD from an Ubuntu. I've been getting bad sectors but none of them have remapped. I hope this remaps these (50 or so) sectors and that I don't get anymore, but somehow I doubt it. I'm fucked, sure I can RMA this, but I've nowhere to backup my data and I don't know if this windows keyfile thing will work (I've only got an upgrade key). I thought the spinpont F3 was supposed to be reliable, I think mine's been dying from day one. I'll be buying WD next time.
Spotify removed the listening time limits. Still has the 5-time limit thought
So that's why it's gone. Sweet since i'm currently too poor to buy Unlimited I wonder how long it would take untill all my songs in my playlist were listened to 5 times :V:
Spotify removed the listening time limits. Still has the 5-time limit thought
I'd rather have the listening time limits than the 5-time limit.

Before that it shows a big update button. [editline]26th September 2011[/editline] And the 5 times listening per song only starts half a year after you created your account.

At the company they register EVERYTHING. I had to write the GPU serial numbers + the computer they were put in down. They also register their computers MAC addresses into a database, and only the computers that have been registered with their MAC address can connect to the network. Pretty interesting, I'm guessing it's for security.

yeah I keep MAC addresses logged at my company, only registered addresses can connect but of course anyone with backtrack can get in if that's the only security. I keep the SSID hidden too and all traffic is encrypted.
Plug them all in at once and do some videos like that. ULTRA WIDESCREEN GAMING !!
I sent the first one back.
Snippity
I have this for my own network too, I also hide my SSID.
I use MAC Filtering, Don't broadcast my ESSID, use WPA2, Push button joining (When user requests to join and has the correct password you then need to press a button on the router) and take off the Antenna when not in use (Which is barely ever)
