Now to install glorious linux on to my new i3 laptop! and Gman I feel you with those mice, at my old school in the computer science building there was a secluded almost sound proofed room with some high end imacs. It seems like the card lock wasn't supposed to work for me but it did, so I did all of my coursework there and dealt with the macs because the room was my little oasis. But there were only those mice, and they drove me insane so I ended up bringing my Deathadder with me when I went over.
what
what is this
My third $1500 monitor has a stuck pixel.
My third $1500 monitor has a stuck pixel.
wow that's either really bad luck or really bad production
So I'm not sure what just happened but I think wingless and I had a seizure at the same time:
you know you can fix stuck pixels, right?
He shouldn't have to... plus it would void the warranty..... unless you're not meaning opening the fucking case of the monitor.
You can do it without opening it.
Then disregard my comment then instead of rating it dumb.
I rated you dumb because you rated Buttsex dumb.
He shouldn't have to... plus it would void the warranty..... unless you're not meaning opening the fucking case of the monitor.
http://www.jscreenfix.com/ bro
He shouldn't have to... plus it would void the warranty..... unless you're not meaning opening the fucking case of the monitor.
is this guy serious
you know you can fix stuck pixels, right?
At first I was going to flame you and make a really mean statement, however... I ran various software to unstick the pixels on the first two monitos for probably 8 hours total on each, both stayed EXACTLY the same. This third one I'm not going to bother with since I want to return it for a refund anyways. Also these monitors are under the "Premiere color" badge. If I get any stuck pixels I get a brand new replacement shipped for free. Which has failed to make a difference the past 2 times.
Yeah, except I keep doing Ctrl-C Ctrl-V instead of Cmnd-C Cmnd-V, and Alt-Tab instead of Cmnd-Tab.
I want to say they have a place where you can rebind those things but somehow I'm not so sure. But I will admit though - THOSE MICE FUCKING SUCK. Are you not allowed to bring your own in?
http://www.jscreenfix.com/ bro
Got any freeware that can do it?
Got any freeware that can do it?
I'm sure there's plenty but just say it didn't work and you get a full refund immediately.
Got any freeware that can do it?
I was about to tell you "that is freeware", but apparently it isn't anymore.

My friend asked me today if I could point him in the direction of a program that would remove the dust from his PC. What the Christ?
Did you check the connections?
Triple Checked. I think its all dead sticks, thank god for a lifetime warranty
what are you even talking about? where is it showing your RAM decreasing? show us the task manager performance page
Oh, its back up to 2.99Gb now. :wtc:
Are you running an integrated GPU of some sort? Or using some weird virtualization?
Nope. CPU: Phenom X4 II (Black Edition) GPU: ATi 6870HD 1Gb RAM: 6Gb of G.Skill 10666 (8-8-8-21)
Stuck pixels are physical defects, and "graphics fix" attempts are often temporary, and will not work permanently.
Stuck pixels are physical defects, and "graphics fix" attempts are often temporary, and will not work permanently.
stuck pixels are often just a result of shock and can be fixed by pressing on it or using those graphical programs
