FUCKING VIRTUALDUB, YOU PIECE OF SHIT. I hate working with animated gifs.
I have no doubt that you are all aware of the high cost of inkt cartridges and the longtime scam run by the corporations who create the inkjet printers and cartridges. For some while now, i have declared the inktjet printer (used by everyone in the house) officially broken, defunct or otherwise incapable of performing its duties, efficiently. I say efficiently, because with normal quality, in which the printer should produce legible text, the printer performs sub par resulting in some of the lines being hard to read, or sometimes even unable. This is often unacceptable. The only recourse is to print at a higher quality, overcoming the broken printer head causing the problems, but resulting in increased use of ink. This results in an inkjet printer with higher upkeep costs, costing my parents a lot of money. Alas, my parents seem unaffected by this result, happily throwing more money at the printer, like how a dog throws himself at a bone. I have urged them to replace it, unfortunately the warranty has since expired, so they must get a new printer, the same one if need be, or maybe, just maybe... A laser printer. Expensive toners sure, but in the long run much cheaper. Facepunch, i urge thee, how do i convince my parents of buying a replacement printer? The same one is fine, a laser printer is better. Then you get ink and a new printer for like $20 more then then cost of an inkie.
No, don't buy a cheap printer. Cheap printers almost always have ink that costs a ton. Look at ink prices before, and buy a printer based on that.
Get a laserprinter for €400, pay €15 for a cartridge that lasts 10000 pages.
Exactly what i told them. They keep insisting that the printer is not broken. For 400 euro's, i found a color all in one laserprinter with toners (seperate).
http://www.ebuyer.com/232760-extra-value-4gb-ddr3-1333mhz-memory-module-evrddr3-4gb I have £30 burning a hole in my pocket, time to ditch my 4GB of DDR2 methinks.
Get a laserprinter for €400, pay €15 for a cartridge that lasts 10000 pages.
Colour laser printer cartridges are like £70 a pop in the UK (plus you gotta buy four), are you sure on that pricing?
Colour laser printer cartridges are like £70 a pop in the UK (plus you gotta buy four), are you sure on that pricing?
Don't have a color laser printer, just regular black, but I just checked and they do seem to be about 70 pounds each for the original ones, off brands usually being half.
No, don't buy a cheap printer. Cheap printers almost always have ink that costs a ton. Look at ink prices before, and buy a printer based on that.
I didn't say cheap printer. Ink is marked up so high it's pretty close to just buying a new printer for $20 extra. Well 20 is maybe a bit of an exaggeration.
I fucking hate printers.
Pepper;32514056']I fucking hate printers.
Wireless printers are one of the things I hate the most. Except when they work correctly then it's the best.
I didn't say cheap printer. Ink is marked up so high it's pretty close to just buying a new printer for $20 extra. Well 20 is maybe a bit of an exaggeration.
I kid you not, I once bought a new printer because it was cheaper than buying new ink.
Printers are hellspawn demons My mom had a really big laser printer catch on fire in her office once Didn't break, she still uses it and it works fine But paper jams So many paper jams...
My printer I've had for three years decided to stop working. I'm sad now, I just got some cardstock for Papercraft.
I didn't say cheap printer. Ink is marked up so high it's pretty close to just buying a new printer for $20 extra. Well 20 is maybe a bit of an exaggeration.
ink+$20 = cheap printer
Why are you trying to defend Imperial? You are the only country in the world who still uses it. Seriously, metric is easier to learn, remember and everyone BUT YOU GUYS knows it.
I don't know anyone who doesn't know metric. We just use Miles, Pounds, Liters because we're used to it. Don't act like UK people never use Stone or Miles.
Keep in mind, they don't usually put full ink cartidges in those new printers anyways.
Hey guys, remember this? I'm still proud of that.
he mentioned me I don't even know who he is
the link still works, what difference does it make?
Never clicked the link, so i dunno. I just hovered over it and saw that
