I do agree that it's fucking bullshit, and I blame EA, not DICE.
I'm not blaming DICE for anything, they've made an awesome looking game From what I see, EA ran this into the ground so far with the whole Battlelog and Origin Exclusive crap

I swear, this thing will be the next big thing in physical computer security: http://revision3.com/hak5/launchallduckies It emulates a basic HID and has an easy scripting language. If you go to 8:38, there's a script that opens up cmd and it types out a program that has been encoded in base64. Really. What the fuck. I now want one. Too bad it costs 80$, I don't have 80$ http://hakshop.com/collections/frontpage/products/usb-rubber-ducky
"Joint automatically when game is avalible"
Smoke weed erryday?

Was teaching parents today (One of the web programs uses Silverlight), and one of my classmate/friends/collegue come's in: 'Yea uh, i've got a case of the eh, 2105 here. Could you come fix it?' I just couldn't stop laughing for minutes because he said it in one of those typical IT Service desk support voices where they smoke cigarettes until the phone rings, and they answer with 'Reimage at' and continue smoking. btw 2105 is some random error with silverlight that gets fixed by reinstalling silverlight.

Found an old netbook I no longer use (8GB SSD with the worst write problems ever, shit would freeze every 10 seconds). It has Ubuntu 8.10 on it. So booting it up now. /dev/sda1 has gone 519 days without being checked, check forced.
:tinfoil:
Just make sure there are no secret agents standing behind you and you'll be fine. The only method to make sure there are absolutely no secret agents behind you is very simple, just do the followi
Fuck, I used the netbook for a "securitybook" experimentation back when I last used it. BIOS passworded, can't remember the password, hard drive encrypted up the ass. At least I remembered the password for that and the Backtrack 4 that was installed.
so reset the bios and reformat, not a big deal
I ain't opening that fucking thing, you have to remove the screen to open it up so you can reset the BIOS. I used to have two of those. Now I have one, because I opened the other one. It's cool though, the screen on the other one was broken.
Am I the only one who's YouTube is completely broken? I can't like/dislike a video, comments don't show up, my subscriptions are gone and there's 500/502 errors up the ass.
Ahahah oh wow I just downloaded BF3 and Origin said ready to install, but I noticed it was gonna install to the wrong drive, so I changed that in the settings and then the install button didn't work Restarted Origin, it didn't think BF3 was downloaded anymore so it tried to redownload the whole fucking thing Yes, THIS will be competition for Steam :v:
Origin is still beta, and Steam doesn't even have that feature. I'm liking Origin more than steam recently.
Talking of shitty software, what the fuck is up with Battlefield 3? You have to shut down the game every time you switch servers, you can't change options from Battlelog and Battlelog actually fucking exists. Who the fuck had the bright idea of making what is supposed to be the main menu a bloody web page?
so reset the bios and reformat, not a big deal
The BIOS password is stored on non-volatile memory, you need to find out the BIOS version and manufacturer and hope to fuck someone has a backdoor password online. Either that or contact the manufacturer with a service tag.
I wonder if on Origin it says he's playing "Non-EA Game Steam":v:
Phwhor, look what I remembered I had: [thumb]http://img.tomshardware.com/us/2002/04/04/comparison_of_six_pdas/compaq.jpg[/thumb] A still-working Compaq iPaq 3850 running Windows Mobile 2002, no less. Any ideas of what I should do with it? No bluetooth (next model up) and no Wifi (requires a ~£40 expansion card) so the only way of getting data to it is either IR (har har) or via ActiveSync (which I don't even think works on Windows 7).

Sadly.
