Gotta love inconsistent teachers, my CAD class has started on a new task, make a G Clamp in Inventor It took me about 5 minutes to figure out that M12 x 1.75 was a thread specification and how I was supposed to use it, we were never taught what the hell it means :suicide: Also we've been given 4 weeks to finish this (Which turns out to be around 10 lessons), I'm giving myself 3 days until I've modeled it and done the 6 design sheets we need :v:

Did i ever tell you about mac security being a joke? IT at school doesn't want any software installed so you can login, but to install software you need a password. Reboot into single user mode (Command+S while booting) mount -uw / passwd Then type new password for root user twice and reboot :v:

It actually works on any mac, as long there's no firmware password set (There is none by default and almost noone actually enables it.)
Brb Macstore
I guarantee those macs will have Firmware passwords set. If they don't, I'm sure security won't take nicely to you having openfirmware on screen.
