I'm done in the army in two months, getting a lot of money. Nothing else to spend it on.
Use half now, upgrade later. You'll get much more performance in the end.
Last page someone mentioned Soluto. Is it something worth installing? It looks nice and all, but I have no idea what it does, and the fact that they call it "Anti-frustration software" brings me a bit on my guard.
Worked wonders doing what?
Clean up my startup list. Took like 50s off.
Clean up my startup list. Took like 50s off.
I can clean my startup list myself. "Heal crashes" sounds really vague, and I kinda doubt "Chop boot" does something noticable. Is that all it does? "Anti-frustration" is kinda vague. :v:

Basically it is a tool to get as much user information as possible and sell that to other companies. At least, that is what I suspect their business model to be.
http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/7563643.page
But Battlelog isn't horrible and it does help ward off game pirates and potentially cheater so I'm willing to see if ea improves it, but at least it shows everything and launches the game quickly. And honestly having it exit bf3's exe to find a new server will actually minimize its overall impact on performance as it won't be continually siphoning more and more memory and cpu resources through memory leaks and what not. There are many upsides to the new system and quite frankly with the way Windows page file works, it was smart to do it this way.
http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/7563643.page
what :what:
I'm pissed. Just got home from School and saw the UPS van containing my new phone at the top of my driveway, saw the guy walking back up my drive (there was nobody home) so I shouted "hey! wait!" but he drove away anyways, he went to the top of my road and turned around so I waited at the top of the driveway and waved as he went past, either he didn't see me or completely ignored me and just kept on driving. The thing is I kinda needed the phone tonight, and I'll need it tomorrow definitely, and it says on a little sheet of paper that he shoved through the door that he was going to come back tomorrow. Alternatively I could pick it up from the nearest UPS Center. Going to go over there after 6ish and hope that it's there :saddowns:
Deliverymen are usually always assholes, bus drivers too :v:
oh okay I can't go and pick it up until there have been 3 failed deliveries, and I bet the same thing will happen again tomorrow (although I am out of School at 2:15 tomorrow so I might be able to catch him)
Deliverymen are usually always assholes, bus drivers too :v:
Most bus drivers where i live are awesome, usually if i forget some of my fare they'll let me off with it, and they stop wherever i need to stop :buddy:
Deliverymen are usually always assholes
Our local DPD guy is awesome, once saw me walking back from town about 30 seconds away from my house and he stopped, turned around and said he'd be waiting at my house. Low and behold, my SSD was waiting for me. ParcelForce guy is also pretty cheery.
Relevant.
So fucking true. Sometimes takes 2 more π radian turns though.
I don't have an IO shield on my PC, so i have to be reaaaaly wary of where i put USB plugs :v:
I don't have an IO shield on my PC, so i have to be reaaaaly wary of where i put USB plugs :v:
I acidentaly put a USB cable into my laptops Ethernet port. It sparked slightly, but I think nothing bad happened.
I acidentaly put a USB cable into my laptops Ethernet port. It sparked slightly, but I think nothing bad happened.
That fits oddly well for me. Never got any sparks though
I acidentaly put a USB cable into my laptops Ethernet port. It sparked slightly, but I think nothing bad happened.
I have put a USB cable in - The empty slots of the IO shield And almost in the HDMI port. And in the laptops ethernet port. And maybe some more. BTW. I have now 2 19" monitors. Now I only need a DVI to VGA adapter. Shit. BUT I GOT TWO 19" MONITORS. 1280x1024 both.
In some laptops you can put a USB cable in the eSATA and it works.
I wonder what having a single, universal port would be like. And I don't mean like USB, I mean quite literally a port that accepts anything - a standardised master design.
In some laptops you can put a USB cable in the eSATA and it works.
Mine can.
That's fucking awesome
My Z68 motherboard has two eSATA/USB combo ports. One is USB 3/eSATA 3 one is USB 2/eSATA2. They end up being very useful. Don't use eSATA? have some extra USB.
That's fucking awesome
I was like, why does it say USB above my eSATA port, what is this magic. Tried it, worked.
In some laptops you can put a USB cable in the eSATA and it works.
My cousins(?) laptop can do that. But he has a pretty powerful one too. Well, Atleast it was. And it should still be.
I have one too, that's also the USB port that can be powered even if the laptop isn't turned on. I have yet to see it work, though. :v:
