if this is supposed to be a serious advertisement that font is completely obnoxious
I thought the font looked quite nice, you think I should change it? Any ideas? Also thanks for the feedback, fixed the grammar errors, didn't proof read it myself before I posted it.
it's probably not a terrible font when used properly but here it does not work (see: comic sans on company letterhead, Times New Roman on a toddler's birthday invitation, etc).
I'll keep it for the title/company name or whatever but I may change it for categories, I just have no idea what to change it to.

It's very annoying having to compete with all these chinese resellers and stuff marketing a computer with a Pentium 4 and 5450 as a "Professional gaming computer".
Wait, does she WANT you to?
I think so, something about her using it when she actually had a job. I dunno. I told her once about my interest in programming and all that and she said "I know how to program! They taught me DOS when I worked at..." Funny shit. Another kid once told me he was an amazing game maker. I asked him what language he used, he claimed not to know. After a little bit of pressure("Really dude, how do you not know?") he said he programs in English. Fun stuff.
Some kind of ~electronic and futuristic~ type font
Some kind of ~electronic and futuristic~ type font
She can get on Facebook on her phone, so she is a 'teachie'. People are silly

The expensive insurance on a friends laptop was about to run out, so we did this: And if his plan works, he'll have a new PC soon :v:
I sure hope his warranty includes water/intentional damage.
When he bought the PC, the guy who sold him it told him to buy the warranty as well. Why? So that he could "Drown it in cola and get a new one" when he became tired of it. He was literally told to do this :v:
What a waste of perfectly good cola.
We bought extra cheap shit cola just for this occasion.
So I didn't want to put all my brother's stuff back on his laptop manually, so I thought I would try using dd to copy the contents of the dying drive to the new one. It worked until dd shat itself 24 GB in when it encountered IO errors. I tried clonezilla and it did the same thing. Then I whipped out my Hiren's BootCD and ran ddrescue, which worked perfectly. Also, since the warranty on the laptop ends sometime in November, I'm going to see if we can get the LCD replaced on it to squeeze a bit more out of Dell. Hopefully I can get $400-ish out of it on Kijiji after that.

You could have stripped it of the CPU, RAM and the HDD.
Pepper;32629056']You could have stripped it of the CPU, RAM and the HDD.
I don't think I'd have any use of the CPU, but you're right about the RAM and the HDD. He didn't want to do anything more than this though, and I'm not one to argue with his plans of killing his own PC.

God dammit, Dropbox apparently doesn't allow much traffic. I'll reupload to Filesmelt, wait a sec. [editline]5th October 2011[/editline] Fixed
