Well idk if it'd actually work, but there's YUMI. It works with windows vista/7. try it if you haven't already.

scroll all the way to the bottom once you have the program open.
Fixed it, all is good. Installing.
A few friends of mine and I work on several programming projects, I version them all with git on my home server and we connect to it via SSH. One of them was school related, so we asked the tech guys if they could whitelist my server on port 22, they were cool with it. So now I have full SSH access to my server from school, and the school internet is really fast during my free block.
What should I do with it? I think I have X11 forwarding set up already...
Bleh, I have a course coming up that I really can't be arsed to do.
Good thing it's an online course, I hope the site the course is on was built by a moron, hoping for an SQL injection vulnerability.
Random question: does anybody know how to automatically download the top result for a given Google Image Search using wget?
Ask him if dan was boobies. If he's a facepuncher, he'll know it. If he isn't, then you will sound pretty strange and a tad creepy.
I'm on facepunch and i don't get it.

You should really know what 'and dan was boobies' means.

Route ALL your ports through a SSH tunnel, and uh... Play games on steam?
Okay guys, someone explain to me why a dual core 2 GHz CPU does not give you 4 GHz. I know this is not how it works, but I want to know how to explain it to a friend :(
Because the cores aren't running at 4GHz.
The application needs to be able to take advantage of using two cores at the same time.
When in doubt: Car analogy
But coupling two 250hp engines together will give 500hp, so it isn't really applicable here..
Two cars going at 25mph at the same time doesn't mean they are going 50mph
:iiaca:
But the power they produce isn't straight line because of friction etc, it's a curve. e=mc^2 :v:
That doesn't apply to CPU's
:colbert:

Just use the damn analogy.
It is by far the best analogy for explaining cores to illiterates.

Fine, I'll draw you an analogy using people and ticket booths

both cores are cycling at 2Ghz, having two wheels spinning at 2000rpm doesnt give you 4000rpm of total angular velocity.

I have no idea how accurate this is but to an illiterate it would make sense

I've seen better analogies.
Imagine 1 car driving down a road. It can carry a load of 1, and it drives at 40mph. It'll have to drive 1 distance, and it drives it in 20 minutes. Now, it'll obviously transport that 1 load in 20 minutes, and if you had 4 loads it would take 80 minutes to carry those the distance (it won't have to drive back, okay?). Now imagine 4 cars carrying one load each at the same speed - the cars will only have to drive the distance once to get 4 loads done, while the 1 car would have to drive the distance 4 times. The 4 cars won't get 1 load done faster than the 1 car, because they go at the same speed, but they can still get 4 times as much shit done in the same time span.
Android SDK's y u no download faster
Oh god, it finally arrived.
The one sticker to complete my laptop.

I love laptops that are so plain they just look like plates when they're closed :v:

It will take about an hour to get each OS image downloaded with it.
It's worth it though, you get a slow as hell Android Emulator and dev tools.
I love simplicity.
And if you need heat during the night, just set up a Gentoo VM, leave it compiling GNOME with too many jobs ((Amount of cores + amount of hyperthreaded virtual cores) *2), put under pillow, done.

Also preferably not glossy black. Mine's that and all those fingerprints are really annoying
