Enjoy those brilliantly written drivers!
Already using them. I've used Nvidia and ATI/AMD Drivers for years, I've heard all the claims, and you know what? THEY'RE EQUALLY AS BAD AS EACH OTHER
Already using them. I've used Nvidia and ATI/AMD Drivers for years, I've heard all the claims, and you know what? THEY'RE EQUALLY AS BAD AS EACH OTHER
I've had consistantly awful experiences with Catalyst, I really won't be going back for more any time soon.
I've had consistantly awful experiences with Catalyst, I really won't be going back for more any time soon.
I spent around 4 years on Tech Support Forum. I mostly hung around the Video Card section. Every single ATI driver error thread was countered by an Nvidia one with a similar problem.
Ah, Atleast The Nvidia drivers could independantly change refresh rate on one monitor without dicking up the others refresh rate at the same time.
Ah, Atleast The Nvidia drivers could independantly change refresh rate on one monitor without dicking up the others refresh rate at the same time.
I've never had that problem, my current 15'' runs at 75Hz and my 22'' runs at 60hz.
I switched my left monitor to 75Hz. Worked just fine Selected my right monitor and set it to 75Hz, left monitor goes out of range while the right one still works just fine...

About a month, I swapped my HD4890 with my dads GTX260. He just has a 44" TV plugged into his PC via HDMI so he didn't need anything flashy. [editline]8th October 2011[/editline] Oh, and the XP drivers for my Radeon 9200 caused odd artifacting, works just fine under windows 98 however.

Checking why wireless isn't doing quite as well as I hoped it would. Oh. Well fuck the police, time to pretend I'm japanese. I still can't get over how someone named his wireless "vaginafrog".

Because you're using Opera Mini, right? Also, I ave a little problem with my keyboard here. When I press the m or thhe h key, I get 2 letters instead of one [editline]8th October 2011[/editline] Any way to fix this (using a Cherry MX White keyboard)? [editline]8th October 2011[/editline] Nevermind, fixed it by adjusting the repeat rate. [editline]8th October 2011[/editline] Behold, the Frankeyboard! FFuuuu- Cydia just crashes after I jailbroke my mothers iPod. Time to restore and jailbreak it again...
*sigh* goddammit AMD, how do you fuck up your drivers this bad. OpenGL apps/games now crash my display driver instantly and CCC seems to have forgotten the fact that I'm using a 6870 (I have no MLAA or other >5xxx features). fuck
Stop using those RAGE beta drivers maybe?
I did. I reverted back to 11-9 and now everything's fucked I even removed all registry entries and leftover files

Watching the switch blink is kind of mesmerizing.
So today for my High School Robotics team, there was a fall festival in our town. We came with lots of baked goods (including my infamous chocolate crinkles.) We brought our demo robot from last year and got about $200 in donations. We hooked up the robot to some Logitech controllers and let some little kids control it and pick up the plastic competition tubes with the robot while we convinced their parents to donate money in exchange for baked goods. One of my friends also dressed up as the team mascot and danced while we pitched to some of the local businesses why they should sponsor us. We did it from 9 until around 4 in the afternoon. Today was fucking boss.
Err, what the fuck, Google It's literally a clone of 8.8.8.8, is Google telling me their DNS is wrong?
Also, we're programming our robot in Java with NetBeans IDE. It seems fairly adequate for what we're doing.
I think my poor little netbook is starting to have a mental breakdown.... Yesterday I found out my mic wasn't working on Skype, and I went into recording devices... wat So I restarted my computer, and they still weren't there. It's like they grew digital arms and legs and uninstalled themselves. Ever since then the issue of being booted off of every network extremely often has gotten worse. [editline]8th October 2011[/editline] :tinfoil:
I like how lapsiporno.info appears incorrect
For anyone that doesn't get it, lapsiporno = child porn. Lapsiporno.info is a Finnish website about censorship. Also, anyone ever have those moments where you do something obvious, yet you still feel like a genius? find / | grep .png returned too many results. Solution: I piped that into less so I could scroll through the results of that.
This may be incredibly late (about 20+ years) but I learned that the key under the backspace does this "|" and not a tall colon. I always thought it was some useless key that nobody used anymore, like page up and insert and such. I still don't know why they print it as a tall colon thing instead of this |
http://puu.sh/6CiN Image explaining my first world problem. Honestly, this monitor feels like I'm on a gameboy pocket.
It looks like you will need to come done in size quite a bit to get rid of the input lag. Lowest input lag for IPS panels is the Dell U2312HM. However its only e-IPS compared to the h-IPS the 30" had, so its 16.7 million instead of 1.07 billion colors. Its also only 1920x1080. The U3011 averages 24.4 ms with it peaking at 30ms, if its more then 16.7ms you can feel it. The U2211H I have is averages 15.6 ms with it peaking at 20 ms, it isn't to bad for gaming from my experience and it was worth the $179 I paid last summer for the color reproduction alone. The U2312HM averages 0.6 ms with it peaking at 10ms. So the U2312Hm is best gaming IPS panel out there right now, ghosting isn't noticeable either when you turn on over drive. The U2412M, which is 1920x1200 is on sale now for $320 with free shipping and its 9.4 ms avg, and 20 ms peak. *Theres a coupon code for it

Since I almost always have a terminal open, I tend to use mpc more than Ario. The problem with mpc is that mpc play requires a song number as the argument, but mpc playlist doesn't give you the number. Solution? mpc playlist|nl|less Instant broweable playlist.

[editline]9th October 2011[/editline] http://efytimes.com/e1/70691/fullnews.htm Now, the Supreme Court of India has directed all the courts across the nation to switch over to Ubuntu 10.04. The apex court has also given all the courts customised Ubuntu Linux DVD for installation. Over 17,000 courts across the country were using Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 for the last four years.
