Could be worse, it could be running OSX, then you would have nothing to utilise that graphics card properly.
[editline]10th October 2011[/editline]
And you would have to work out all of thse key combos without a mouse...

You think anyone would get GTX 580 drivers on Windows ME?
You think anyone would get GTX 580 drivers on Windows ME?
It seems XP is the limit for that card.
Even using XP with a modern computer is a sin
I see it like:
Modern computer: Use Windows 7
Low end computer: use linux. it's not like you're gonna play any games on it so why even bother with windows XP?
Even using XP with a modern computer is a sin
I hope an 800Mhz AMD Duron with a Radeon 9200SE doesn't count as modern :v:

I don't think I'm gonna do anything to those computers I'm getting since they can play source games :v

For maximum stability, I recommend Windows ME.
For maximum stability, I recommend Windows ME.
No thanks, already have 98se on dual boot.
For maximum stability, I recommend Windows ME.
Just don't open any programs :v:
That probably includes opening explorer too.
In fact, don't turn the computer on at all. Just go out and kill urself

Best possible action if you ever install Windows ME on a computer.
Me and wingless were dicking around on the internet looking for awesomely expensive things

x8 30 inch IPS monitors
=
11.5 Thousand Dollars and a (Assuming it was possible) resolution of 10240x3200
2.7 meters wide and 1 meter tall, I think I just made everyone's plans when they win the lottery

When he wins the lottery? At this rate, it will take a year for him to fill that.
Ever heard a GTX 480 with the fan at 100%?
I've heard my gtx470 at full speed. It sounds about as loud as that...
My Twin Frozr III at 100% sounds like a vacuum cleaner. Good thing it only goes up to 50% ish under load
Mine sits on 44% idle :v:
40% idle :v: (Which is inaudible)
Oh god, I was just listening to my PC as I was going through folders, my new hard drive is making strange noises when I access it
This is the sound with my mic right up to the front vent, the fan sound you hear is just the other normal fans (Case, CPU, GPU, PSU)
Should I be worried? :ohdear:
Normal sound.

Nope. That's normal.
If it's too loud for you, and if the hard drive supports it, adjust the hard drive's AAM setting.

The 4870 is the king of deafening fans (and considering how hot it runs you'll be needing it at 100%)
I'm a baddy that leaves my msi hawk 5770's fan on at 39% 24/7 because that's where it's unaudible
I don't even give a fuck if I'm playing crysis 2, I don't want a noisy computer and it'll only really get up to about 87c
Even if my GPU goes to 70C, the fan speed is at 70% and my headphones are good enough to not let that sound in.
HD4650 sucks. No eyefinity and I can not play games with dual monitor. Shit, that's what I wanted :smith:
Oh well, I can atleast browse web while I am dead in CS or smth.
The 4870 is the king of deafening fans (and considering how hot it runs you'll be needing it at 100%)
I think you're talking about the 4890.
OK, back from work.
I have one thing to say: whoever designed the .plist format had no fucking idea what the point of XML is. Because it looks like this:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple Computer//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
<plist version="1.0">
<dict>
<key>NSAppName</key>
<string>Ubersoft Mercury</string>
<key>NSVersion</key>
<string>1.0.5.11b</string>
</dict>
</plist>
Now imagine trying to pull up one of the values using any standard XML library. You can't. You pretty much have to parse the entire thing until you find the key you're looking for, then pull up the next node. THAT IS NOT HOW YOU USE XML.
Oh, and one more thing:
Dear Microsoft:
"/Applications/Microsoft Office 2011/Office/Microsoft® Silverlight™/" is not a good path name.
Next time you're tempted to name a folder with funny characters in it, think about "how would you cd into it?"
Sincerely, Fuck You
Doesn't
cd MICROS~17
work?
Or was that only on DOS?
[editline].[/editline]
cd micros*
works
