Six feet (that's ~180cm, right?), don't remember how much I weigh, triply-redundant porn storage, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
I have terabytes worth of porn.

[editline]13th October 2011[/editline]

Do any of you know how the amount of ram you would have in 32-bit XP with 8GB system ram and 2GB graphics card.
Would it (A), 2GB for Graphics card and 2GB total for system or.
(B) 2GB for graphics and 4GB total for system.
This is without extended address space.
So our school got new computers and they have i3's in them. Is that good for a school computer?

Pretty good, yeah. Considering how many schools still have P4s...

Wow, talk about overkill.
At least we got Sandy Bridge i5s in this college:
The general labs got upgraded, the sociology labs got upgraded (lol why do they even need computers), even the god damn cafeteria.
Yet the computers department (which I'm in 80% of the time) is still using P4s and Core 2 Duos :v:

Our school got new MACS with i3s in them.
I miss those slow ass eMacs from last year.
Our school got new MACS with i3s in them.
I miss those slow ass eMacs from last year.
The upgrade could not have been this year because the only Macs that use i3s is the Mid 2010 version of the iMac. Now they all have i5/i7s with the exception being the Mac Pro still rocking Nehalem and Westmere.

Last gen and refurbs usually come at a decent discount. I've also never seen a school rolling out brand new macs unless it is only a few.

for the record: he's talking about non-steam counter-strike source.

So I just reformatted my netbook and when I was downloading drivers I saw Asus express gate cloud os so I installed it and its cool other than the fact that it has little functionality and runs like shit. but apparently it was always there.
[editline]14th October 2011[/editline]
would be cool if it was not so broken and limited.
Saw this on Reddit, sums up why I switched to Chrome.
Though, the biggest reason was the lock-ups because of their shitty SQlite thing that gets cluttered and you have to wipe but then you lose your history.

YOU. OUT THE DOOR. NOW. DOOR. PARKING LOT. CAR. GOODBYE.
That feeling when you actually rate correctly on a touchscreen.
That feeling when you actually rate correctly on a touchscreen.
Ratings aren't even visible in chrome on my mac, yet fine on my windows 7 pc :v:
Ratings aren't visible until you hover over them with your mouse, why touchscreen rating is so difficultn

Oh nevermind, I see what you mean now.

They're probably the education iMacs that come with the i3, 4gb of ram, 500gb hard drive, and an AMD 5670 or something like that, $999 each.

Most of my college either uses old dell optiplex 260's or sun thin computing clients. The server is running on a nice beefy Intel xeon, so it's not that slow.
My home internet (50/50) is faster than my schools internet (15/5 max) for which they probably pay 4x the price i pay
At work there is a department where the computers that are used, are stored in a seperate room. They then use these cool remote connection boxes that connects to the screens and keyboard etc. The cool thing is that there is no input lag or wnything. On the downside, the picture quality is a bit iffy, and appears to be analog.
[editline]14th October 2011[/editline]
And that's pretty weird since it uses Ethernet cables..

It's probably a non standard pin layout. I doubt it is actualy real ethernet. Some TV's in my old school used rj45 for video.

My home internet (120/10) is faster than my schools internet which I can barely even connect to for more than 5 minutes.
Then again, there's 5 max devices at home. I can't say the same for university. :v:
