Did you know that Apple cables look pretty good if you tear the plastic shit off (Or in my case, let it fall off naturally)

For those curious, the other side is just as bad

Yes that's duct tape with an arrow carved into it :v:
Apple cords are always shit, at least their iPod/iPhone cords are.

He's got the older ones though.

That helps a lot.
Shame the OS has basically been abandoned before release. Don't expect a shitload of third party apps.
You're right, but I'm switching from the N900 anyway so I'm sort of used to it :v:
Considering it has Qt (cross platform app sharing with symbian (and hopefully WP7 if it gets Qt)) and it might get Alien Dalvik (Android app compatibility), I'm not particularly worried.
Also I read that you can modify what the swipe directions do, since the status menu is on the left, the apps on the center and task manager on the right, you can make a the edge swipes go the each page and the down swipe to close the app
There are a couple of minor things that bother me about it though
-I have to install a file manager and xterminal (not a huge hassle since they're free, but it seems unnecessary)
-have to wait for third party apps for the radio and fm transmitter
-and the browser is shit compared to the N900's (though still not bad)

I can't understand the optimizing in games.
Dirt 3
In menu, GPU temps 70C
Ingame, GPU temps 66C
Portal 2
In menu, GPU temps got up to 75C
Ingame, GPU temps about 66C or so.
Idle, 46C or so. Overclocked HD4650.
it seems like I'm the only one that doesn't have an issue where idle and load temperatures are far apart.
my idle temps are 65C, my load temps are 71C.

Metro 2033's menu makes my GPU go into overdrive :V
Apparently it's because your graphics card tries to render a ridiculous framerate just because it can

Let me try.
Before: 51 C
After: 55 C
Odd.
I currently have a GTX 260 and an AMD Phenon II Dual core, what should I do first? Upgrade my GPU or CPU.
New GPU will give you best results in 95% of games.
Such kind words. Is that how you treat everyone here?
Anyways, thanks everyone else for at least not being a fucking asshole (besides Derpmeifter).
Well, I actually find AMD's naming scheme pretty good, as you can almost always get an idea of the performance of the card just by looking at the number, while I don't really feel the same with Nvidia. It might jst be me, though. Also, the GTX 465 woudl like a word with you; worse than a GTX 460, higher number.
I have the choice between the HD6950 and the 560TI (1 or 2gb?)
Oh god which one.
Why do they put glossy screens on phones? Surely it must be some kind of technology lapse because I can't see shit on my phone outside and I don't care if you have an amoled big boy screen I don't believe you if you say you can.

They're about the same performance level (though the 6950 is from what I've seen a tiny fucking bit faster. It consumes more energy, though), get whatever is cheapest.

http://www.hwcompare.com/8888/geforce-gtx-560-ti-vs-radeon-hd-6950-2gb/ 2 gig model of 6950
Which GPU should I upgrade to? Remember I have a dual core AMD Phenom II.

It's the 5850/6850 jump that confuses me, as 5870 > 6870 > 5850 > 6850

The 560 seems best for performance, but does the AF and AA really matter?
Also if 560, 2gb or 1gb?
Same question for 6950.
Also, the price is pretty much the same, just depends on the brand, Club3D, ASUS, Msi, etc.

Not to take a shit on your benchmarks, but those benchmarks aren't really like those I've seen:

http://www.guru3d.com/article/radeon-hd-6950-1gb-vs-geforce-gtx-560-ti-review/1
I would look up more reviews than this, but I can't be bothered. As said before, just get whichever is cheapest.

That's because AMD changed their naming scheme for some reason. The 68** is based on the 5770 as far as I remember.
I think I'll go for the 560TI, just because it is basically the same performance, maximum difference of 5fps, quieter and not as hot.
Now one thing, 1gb or 2gb?
And does the company that has its name on it matter that much?

most phones nowadays use an anti glare thingy
I should probably drop in. (The HDMI cable) was the cheapest one they had. Note to Australians and New Zealander's - Dick Smith is hilariously overpriced. This is old news.

Name on it is only the cooler. The MSI Twin Frozr is one of the best coolers afaik.
2GB isn't usually needed. And if it is, it is only on high resolutions.

wopiii, My Windows Experience Index is now 5.4. Lowest is Gaming Graphics and Processor. Should OC the CPU a bit more...
GPU starts to give articificats with higher clocks :smith:
The WEI was 5.0 before.

WEI is retarded and should never be used to measure performance.
WEI is retarded and should never be used to measure performance.
Yeah, mine is 5.9 but I have 7.3 on everything else. I should really get an F3 or a SSD.
WEI is retarded and should never be used to measure performance.
Yeah. I know that but still, a 0.4 increase just by increasing clocks by 40MHz?
My highest is 5.9 and that is my HDD :v:
When your spinning magnetic disk of data storage isn't the WEI bottleneck, something is wrong
When your spinning magnetic disk of data storage isn't the WEI bottleneck, something is wrong
Sorry for having a mediocre PC from 2009 :v:

This here.
Everything except my SSD is 7.3 (i7-2600k/570, so maxed), SSD is 7.2 for some reason.
