Turns out HP has as good a warranty as DELL for their high end monitors. This makes me more confident.

Zero stuck pixel policy.
the amount of server space savced form not having legions of whining nerds on their forums is offset by the amount of money they would lose in warranties when legions of retards decide to fuck the firmware up
Have an unmodifiable bootloader then.
In that case it would be as simple as "oh shit I broke it, time to reflash!"
Holy fuck I just cleaned my G15 by removing every single key and then vacuum that bitch.
One question: How the hell does it still work with that much shit in there?
I bet I could make a tasty soup by holding that thing upside down over a pot of hot water, damn.
Oh, hey! A penny!

Membrane keyboard.
General purpose bootloader stored in read-only memory on every motherboard, which is loaded if none is found on any disk.

Most modern Motherboards have two BIOS's now.
I assume one is stored on a ROM chip and flashed over to the other when it becomes damaged.
My motherboard has two, you can toggle which one to use with a switch on the motherboard.
Notice however that I was talking about a bootloader, not BIOS/UEFI

Similar concept however, hardware wise.

One standard bootloader which cannot be changed at all, and one reflashable bootloader which will defer to the standard if something screws up.
How do you even take of keyboard keys anyways?
What the fuck windows?
I just analyzed how much fragmentation my T: has and when i click defrag it starts analyzing again before actually starting the defrag.
How stupid.

How many disks do you have?
How many disks do you have?
Two, C: and T:.
T: because Terabyte. :v:

Fuck, I just noticed that I accidentally spelled terabyte with two 'r' in explorer.
Earthbyte.
Terrorbyte
Hard drive broke in the family laptop, convinced parents to get an ocz vertex plus 60gb ssd to replace it, feels good man.
Hard drive broke in the family laptop, convinced parents to get an ocz vertex plus 60gb ssd to replace it, feels good man.
why would you waste money on that kind of stuff for a family laptop

wwwwwhhhhhhyyyyyyyy
Because speed.
Because speed.
And that matters on a family laptop?

Is this a good ssd for the price?
why would you waste money on that kind of stuff for a family laptop
Speed and reliability.
It's pretty much the most value for money ssd out there, they wont need more than 60 gb and it's only about 1/3 more than the 5400rpm 320gb WD scorpio which was my other consideration.
Again considering they wont need more than 60gb and the speed and reliability it will bring to the relatively low price i think it's great.
I say "they" because i have my own laptop so I never use the family one.

You also can look at battery life
SSD's use less power
And that matters on a family laptop?
Of course!

You dirty whore. I feel like I need an SSD now, you fucker.
If you're ok with only 60GB (for windows/linux only, basically), there's this:

Asus Transformer if you have a lot to spend. It's awesome!
Then again, the TF Prime looks like it'll retail for roughly the same price...

I looked at this earlier. All I want is to put Win7, BF3, and Crysis 2 on the ssd. I have all my games on a 1tb and media on a 500gb which is also my boot drive right now.
And now for a second question, I have a rig with a 955 and a single 560 (non Ti). What kind of psu would I need for sli?

I've had to give the transformer a miss.
Getting an Advent Vega and Fractal Design Refine R3 for Christmas instead.
