[QUOTE=Brt5470;33132062]More so people blame the hardware. REALLY ITS LOUD? WHO WOULD OF THOUGHT PLACING THE CARDS SO CLOSE THAT THEY RUB ON EACH OTHER WOULD MAKE THEM HARD TO COOL[/QUOTE] The education system has something to answer for! :v: I mean, I can put a computer together, but know nothing about hardware, really, and even I know that you don't have things that generate a lot of heat basically hugging each other.
[QUOTE=horsedrowner;33132057]Superscrot it is then. I'll see about setting up a Google Code project once I'm done writing this. :v: Nothing is final though. Feel free to suggest stuff so long as other people don't get annoyed by it.[/QUOTE]buttload isn't bad
[QUOTE=Brt5470;33132062]More so people blame the hardware. REALLY ITS LOUD? WHO WOULD OF THOUGHT PLACING THE CARDS SO CLOSE THAT THEY RUB ON EACH OTHER WOULD MAKE THEM HARD TO COOL[/QUOTE] If I'm ever building a full PC for looks, I'm using these [img]http://www.overclock.net/attachments/amd-ati/209581d1304890792-using-pci-e-16x-extenders-w-470262151_o.jpg[/img] I'd make sense (and look cool) if you mounted them so they pointed towards the vents (And where you can see the cool designs)
[QUOTE=BlkDucky;33130455]There's [URL="http://www.techsmith.com/jing.html"]Jing[/URL], but in my experience it's even less stable than zscreen is.[/QUOTE] What do you mean, unstable?
[QUOTE=VistaPOWA;33124408]I am having some problems with my videocard, it's an MSI 295GTX. The problems started in June, while I was playing Mirror's Edge. The screen went black and the speakers were emitting the last sound before the card died (buzzing). In July, this started happening weekly, and now, it happens daily. The last drop in the glass came today, 3 failures in a row, 2 times while idling, once while playing a game. My drivers are fully updated. Any idea what could cause this problem, and how could I get rid of this card (this is my 4th replacement since May, 2010, these things just fail semi-annually)?[/QUOTE] Still haven't got an answer on this.
scrot and NFS to a server with ftp?

Well, you could always try samba and zscreen, or maybe some smaller, more stable screenshot program.
[QUOTE=Blaberry;33133003]Well, you could always try samba and zscreen, or maybe some smaller, more stable screenshot program.[/QUOTE] That's the point. I hate ZScreen and I haven't tried Gyazo, Puush or similar because I want to upload it to my Dropbox or FTP and not another image host.
[QUOTE=Brt5470;33129466]I use Puush.it Mainly since Zscreen never worked all that well for me. I have to type out my own BB code but I got use to it.[/QUOTE] I was stuck on quite an old version of ZScreen for a long time because none of the newer ones worked properly, however I'm currently on the latest dev build and so far it's been flawless. It doesn't even have that bug where Windows would ignore the key binds. The problem with puush is you have to use their site, with their limited bandwidth.
[QUOTE=Goz3rr;33131360]Funny americans, start using Kelvin and Celcius, much easier to convert. [editline]5th November 2011[/editline] K = C - 273 :v: Beat that[/QUOTE] hey here's a fun deal we'll switch to metric when europeans stop bitching about how america doesn't have it yet
[QUOTE=FFStudios;33134120]hey here's a fun deal we'll switch to metric when europeans stop bitching about how america doesn't have it yet[/QUOTE] You just doomed yourself to the Imperial system forever.
[QUOTE=FFStudios;33134120]hey here's a fun deal we'll switch to metric when europeans stop bitching about how america doesn't have it yet[/QUOTE] It's only going to get harder to do the longer that you keep imperial.
[QUOTE=Terminutter;33134166]It's only going to get harder to do the longer that you keep imperial.[/QUOTE] [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bzWSJG93P8[/media] Perhaps George Lucas was hinting at something...
So I'm thinking of buying a new case but also drilling a shape into one side just for shits and giggles, also ventilation. I already made a large smiley face in my current case but I don't know what to do with the next. (please don't say a dick.)
a cock

I'd say your PSU is breaking them?
Dammmn. Minecraft crashed my GPU drivers twice in a row. Fuck it! My uptime is slightly under 4 days and it is alaready fucking me in the face.
[QUOTE=Goz3rr;33134809]I'd say your PSU is breaking them?[/QUOTE] It's a Chieftec 750W (80+). [editline]5th November 2011[/editline] It can handle my system, theoretically.
nevermind
[img]http://www.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/df5570ba03.png[/img] WHY?
[QUOTE=tratzzz;33134997][img]http://www.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/df5570ba03.png[/img] WHY?[/QUOTE] Windows 2000 on an i5 PC? Where's that goddamned eye bleach.
[QUOTE=VistaPOWA;33135080]Windows 2000 on an i5 PC? Where's that goddamned eye bleach.[/QUOTE] Did you check your basement? Mine is usually there. [editline]5th November 2011[/editline] I HAVE MAGICALLY EXPANDING STORAGE!! I had 80GB free, cleaned HDD etc. got to 98GB or so. One day, 100GB, other 98GB (Swap space) And now suddenly 120GB free. WTF?
[QUOTE=VistaPOWA;33135080]Windows 2000 on an i5 PC? Where's that goddamned eye bleach.[/QUOTE] More importantly, an i5 with 256MB of RAM? I wasn't even aware that was possible.
[QUOTE=gman003-main;33135196]More importantly, an i5 with 256MB of RAM? I wasn't even aware that was possible.[/QUOTE] AFAIK that's because windows 2000 doesn't support more..
[QUOTE=Goz3rr;33135510]AFAIK that's because windows 2000 doesn't support more..[/QUOTE] 256MB seems to be the recommended requirement. As far as I know it supports up to 4096MB, as it is 32-bit, and since XP is pretty much based on it.
Then i think they just allocated 256mb in virtualmachine.
[QUOTE=Goz3rr;33135510]AFAIK that's because windows 2000 doesn't support more..[/QUOTE] [quote=Wikipediaaaaa!!!!]Windows 2000 Professional was designed as the desktop operating system for businesses and power users. It is the client version of Windows 2000. It offers greater security and stability than many of the previous Windows desktop operating systems. It supports up to two processors, and can address up to 4 GB of RAM.[/quote]
See my second explanation then :v:
