B3's were also terribly expensive.
So speaking of quad core LGA775 processors people aren't using, anyone interested in sending one to me or selling one?
I'm still rocking with my Sandy Bridge OC

and then his CPU caught fire, taking both the rest of his computer and the rest of his household with it

I still haven't gotten to really overclocking my 2500k. On the first boot i just set to 3500 and haven't touhced it since. I should probably clock it way higher since i have an H60.
I have my 2500K at 4.0GHz until I get an aftermarket cooler or some shit.
Shit, my BIOS is awesome.
I just fucked my overclock and instead of not booting and me having to clear CMOS it boots, underclocks and says "Overclock failed. Would you like to enter setup or reset to default and continue".
These fail safe bios has existed for a very long time already

it cost less than $30

it cost more than $250
I have to flip a couple jumpers in order for mine to reset.
I'm still waiting for someone to make a completely water proof computer (not the case, the parts inside), so to cool it, you just throw it in a bucket of iced water. Easiest water cooling ever.

I'd say just put the radiator in iced water..
I'd say just put the radiator in iced water..
If you did that, you could get condensation along the tubing or on the water block, it could drip onto the motherboard and destroy hardware.

:science:
coat the motherboard in silicone, run blocks to all the bits that get hot
Move to the icepole
or tape off the component ports (CPU socket, PCI, DIMMS, etc.) and jumpers and spray a ton of corona dope on it
[editline]7th November 2011[/editline]
and then throw silicone on it if you're feeling paranoid about the corona dope
heh I broke your merge mhehuhemh
heh I broke your merge mhehuhemh
yeah stop that
