Would anyone mind looking over my final wishlist? And don't say anything about the RAT9, I want it. http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?Source=MSWD&WishListNumber=20555927 And should I get a tube of thermal paste?
I've heard that mouse isn't that good.

Stock cooler comes with thermal paste preapplied, but you should really get a NH-D14 or a Hyper 212+, both come with thermal paste too.
Oh and change the hdd to a Spinpoint f3, if i was you drop the mouse and get a 570GTX..
Yeah the stock cooler is bad news.
What mouse should I go with instead? I prefer wireless, I already have 2 MX Revos, so I wouldn't want another one.
I got a logitech M505 and it's nice:

OC-d my CPU a bit, From 2.5GHz to 2.95GHz.
Play L4D2 for 30 minutes or so, GPU temp 70C, CPU temp 50C.
CPU temp idle is 45C, GPU 48C.
GPU is not OC-d atm.
I think my build as it is now is fine. I don't want to pay $100 more for a 570, and I am fine with the R.A.T. 9.
Pepper;31092569']Now let's hope this IT guy is worth his salt.
I think he is.
Also, I changed my motherboard from the GA-Z68XP-UD3P to the GA-Z68XP-UD4. Do you guys think that was a good decision, or should I get the UD3?

I've been using it for some time now. It's a great mouse.

You can't be fine with a mouse the price of a motherboard.
Okay, here is what I want in a mouse:
• Wireless
• Preferably has foward back buttons
• Looks nice
• Uses rechargable and dock
Logitech 3 year battery life master race.
I'll probably get a new mouse before the batteries run out v:v:v

Does the G700 look like a good mouse?

You guys will probably judge me for this buttfuckit http://store.razerzone.com/store/razerusa/en_US/pd/productID.231103000/parentCategoryID.35208800/categoryId.35210600
I would actually be fine with a razer mouse, so I think I might go with that.
God, I really need to find a motherboard and stick with it for my new build. In the last hour, I have switched between 3 different boards, all thinking "oh, this is nice, I should get it" then ten minutes later doing the exact same thing. I'm now back on the board I had on the wish list when I began.

Logitech m505 or v450 both are wireless, have forward and back (Actually, programable) buttons by moving the scroll wheel left or right, they look nice, and don't really need a dock because you just use 2 rechargeable AA batteries, on which they last about 3 years.

Your CPU gets 45c idle?

it's not like I'm bragging or anything
what are the 3?
All are from Gigabyte:
The GA-Z68X-UD3P, the GA-Z68XP-UD3P (Thinking of using this right now, same as previous but with an HDMI port) and the GA-Z68XP-UD4 (most expensive, has 16 phase power design, 2 eSATA and 1 Coaxial S/PDIF out ports)

your graphics card will have an hdmi port anyway and i dont know what the heck 16 phase power design is so i won't need it and neither will you, go with the cheapest
I would actually be fine with a razer mouse, so I think I might go with that.
There's also a bluetooth mouse available.
Do you know what's funny with Linux (oh god Richard Stallman will kill me)
I can take my laptop's hard drive, plug it in my computer, boot it up and my (extremely broken) Fedora install will boot up just fine.
Try doing that with your Windows install :smugdog:
Anyway, now that I found out it's neither the hard drive or the actual Linux install that prevents the laptop from booting up, I think my dad may have killed it for real this time.
your graphics card will have an hdmi port anyway and i dont know what the heck 16 phase power design is so i won't need it and neither will you, go with the cheapest
I'd like to spend the $20 extra to get the HDMI port though, in case my GPU fails or something like that, as I don't have any old GPUs to use while waiting for a replacement.
God damn, Debian just refuses to install on this PowerBook.
Let's bring out the big guns. ARCH LINUX PPC GO!

if you don't have any monitors that take vga or dvi then something is terribly wrong with said monitors
