The laptop completely died this time. RIP Fuckjitsu-semen craptop. :v:
whoa shit people remembered that, didn't I come up with the Fuckjitsu bit? :v:
I think you came up with the whole name. [editline]18th November 2011[/editline]
On the topic of Fuckjitsu-Semen, I had one of their laptops in the early days of Vista. Never again. 512mb RAM, the first thing it did outta the box was crash, then the fan stopped working full stop, leading it to overheat and turn off, then screws started falling out, then it just stopped working.
Yup [editline]18th November 2011[/editline]
We're like drunk stoners.
Wingless best quote of the year [editline]18th November 2011[/editline] I'm browsing retro CIPWTTKT :v:

Then we had LinuX trying to pretend he was there...
I'm scared right now. For the last 30 minutes of so, weird interference noises have been coming from my computer headphones and speakers at different intervals. The sounds are .5 seconds long each and I get a shock every time. [editline]18th November 2011[/editline] I should mention that my headphones and speakers are connected to two different outputs on my computer
Here it is
Jesus fuck, that sounds like metal scraping on metal.
It's also pretty loud. But now I'm listening to music so it's not as scary. I'm glad I wasn't using headphones though, it seems to be outputting the interference at max volume :tinfoil: I could be deaf right now :v: [editline]18th November 2011[/editline] Oh and I forgot to mention, I'm working on the FS craptop from my stack-o-laptops. I suspect it may be the cause, haha.
Here it is
definitely call ghostbusters, that's a case of the spider clowns my completely uneducated guess would be that there's a problem with your soundcard and something's collecting a bit of power and discharging when it gets big enough, like a mini capacitor for a camera flash or something, but randomly manifested into existence, ghost-in-the-shell style in the meantime, this is why I don't like being tech support for old people anymore

the problem (caused by its upside-down-ness): CDs wouldn't stay in the tray, and if they helped hold it as it drew it into the computer it just rattled around shivers down my spine, I tell ya

You sure it wasn't the one between the SFF and mini tower? aka, the one i have
like hell if I was going to test the thing upside-down to figure that out, I was going by their word about it. I can only assume they picked up the computer and shook the disk out if it got jammed in there. I flipped the bugger and explained the little nubs that hold the CD in place when it's upright
I have one of those Optiplex things right next to me. P4, half a gig of RAM, laptop drive, slim form-factor.
The Joke -------------- Your head Also I'm nearly crying. I can't find my X3 TC disc :suicide:
All X3TC keys can be registered on steam, you should've done that. Not that it matters I got as far as that one Terran corvette before I realised that game was a steaming pile of shit. I play games to shoot people, why should I have to collect 2,000,000 lumps of rock before I can do that?

My Superbox only came with a key for the forums which I tried and didn't work. And that game is amazing fuck you. You're just jealous of my Tokyo army.
The game's AI consists entirely of a small hamster, a long stick and the button on the end of it. The stick is strapped to the front of the ship, and whenever the button hits something, the hamster is electrocuted and the ship changes direction.

I'm not read-up at all on models and the like, but maybe there's a different one of these that normally comes with that? I know it probably has to be a custom tray for it or something because it's so close to the wall of the case

Because those things are evil. They're sentient I tell you, I've had one that turned it self on, hit a wall then started chasing me until I kicked the sensor and it turned away. Fucking evil little shits.
