Is there any reason why laptops strong enough to not vomit at running source games on medium, at the very least, are so expensive? Namely Dells, since that's apparently what my mom has to buy for credit or some shit... We'd build a desktop for more power and much less but there isn't anymore room for a second desk in either place. And the person it's being bought for needs to be able to easily transport it. Edit: Sorry for breaking your merge, please don't murder me. :smith:
Asus K53E!
Asus K53E!
Would if I had a choice to suggest anything else but I don't. Apparently mom wants more of some sort of store credit with somebody and the deal is only good with Dell. I'm not sure why or what exactly it is but yeah...
My monitor died about 25 minutes ago. Does not do anything. Doesn't turn on, no image, no lights, no sound, no nothing. I'm talking about my old monitor. My new one is fine.
You scared me.
Maybe I'll take it apart on camera. Show all the inerdz...
Do it like how iFixit does teardowns.

You follow me? :3:
You follow me? :3:
Is it really broken, or broken i cba'd to fix the backlight broken?
Considering the power button that would always show it's activity is no longer on, I'd say it's dead. Not even in standby. Though perhaps the system kills itself if the CCFL is dead.
Capacitors?
Pepper;33350184']Capacitors?
That's what i meant too
I'm more inclined to get a pair of 1600x900 monitors for portait to match my current one. Any idearz?
