Oh newegg, sending a laptop and a sound card wrapped with kraft paper for protection yet you're sending my 2.99$ extension cable in a box filled with bubble wrap. Their Cali warehouse actually seems to care about products, unlike the NJ one.

Pretty much my entire current computer arrived in paper, except the harddrive and DVD drive had bubble wrap. Even my 6870 was in paper.
How is that even possible, a website that expects their users to all have Office 2012 installed to display anything on it...
Some badly written websites rely on Internet Explorer activeX components, I imagine office has some functionality that the site requires...
if they infringed on their patents, how is apple being "idiotic dicks" if they did any company would sue, but since this is FP of course Apple is at fault here
i dont know how it got through, but apple copyrighted the ui element that is sixteen icons in a four by four rectangular grid. the other patents, i have no idea what they are, but apple may be justified in that
if they infringed on their patents, how is apple being "idiotic dicks"
Because most major companies have a patent portfolio large enough to cover quite a lot of seemingly legitimate technologies their competition could use. They just only use them when the competition poses a threat.
completely unrelated to the topic at hand, but it was kind of inevitable. http://news.slashdot.org/story/11/07/13/2059221/Open-Source-Software-Hijacked-To-Push-Malware
fuck off apple
I see what you have done, and acknowledge you for that.
Oh man it feels good to be on my computer again. The new Hard drive, Windows 7... ohh yea. Only problem is that I am installing drivers still... so 800x600 for me for another 10 minutes.
This is rather stupid, but a problem that I may run in to has just occurred to me. I have never owned my own computer running Windows, having used Macs for the majority of my life and only using Windows while at school. Therefore, I have never had any experience installing drivers or flashing a motherboard's BIOS. This makes me somewhat nervous. I do not really know what I need to install drivers for (Other than the GPU) and how to go about getting and installing the drivers, nor do I know how to properly flash the BIOS of the motherboard I am getting. This worries me.

As long as the process completes uninterupted it should go absolutely fine.
I think my mac has a virus.
Free mac = good mac.
In that case you're fine. Hell, I'd take a free mac. (I'd switch the OS instantly but still)
BIOS flashing is really simple, the manufacturer provides you a flashing utility and a BIOS rom file which you flash with the utility.
if they infringed on their patents, how is apple being "idiotic dicks" if they did any company would sue, but since this is FP of course Apple is at fault here
Oh be quiet you Apple fanboy, Apple has been a patent troll for sometime now and everyone knows it. FYI, Apple are sueing them over dumb patents such as unlocking the phone by sliding an object on the screen, which they filed earlier this year.
FF4
why are you living the previous version
install linux on it osx is an insecure os, as insecure as my sister
Right now its OSX 10.6.7 and Windows 7 Dual boot, cba to burn a linux is to a disk. (I have assorted distros on flashdrives, but afaik macs cant boot from one.) Anyways, great job ClamXav, you managed to detect 42.zip
why are you living the previous version
Because Mozilla forgot how to version things.
why are you living the previous version
Wait, FF5 came alaready out? FF4 just came or what? My grandma still has FF3.5 or something like that. Edit: Wait, I do have FF5, but I have some babelshit bullshit on it and don't know how to get rid of it.
