Someone come write spare parts into this database.
Need free workers.
if only the item list was in csv format :v:

Now rotate it.

I actually did that once, lemme find the APNG

Wasn't there a PSP game that worked based on rotating things?
also RE: sleep
Normally I head for bed around 10 ish, take half an hour to actually get to sleep and wake up at 5:30 (assuming I have to be awake for school). Last night though some CRAAAAAAAZY shit happened so that took some time to calm shit down.

No shit :/
They've never had any sort of inventory tracking system, so they have a shitload of stuff and they have no fucking idea what the stuff exactly is.
And they're going to become the main warehouse for a lot of places.
Sucks to be them.

I didn't know it was possible, but my brain and eyes have spontaneously combusted. I managed to douse them with the can of coke I had on the side.
Well fuck: http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1143975
I hope this doesn't mean Intel is going to raise their prices

Oh they will. Who's gonna stop them?

ARM :v:
ARM :v:
That would be pretty cool, if desktop PC's eventualy move to ARM, but then it will no longer be a PC, as IBM designed.

Why though, ARM would be shit for something that can pull half a kilowatt at will out of a wall.
also CISC FTW.
If ARM ended up being as powerful for what we do today it'd be cool; I don't give a crap about what architecture's inside my computer as long as I can do what I want.
And it'd probably be a good thing for energy consumption and heat generation.
Nothing would work, every program is written for native x86, you'd be unable to play any of your steam games and very few would be recompiled/written.
ARM isn't ready to take on the PC yet, yeah Windows 8 can run on ARM, but all those Windows apps can't.
Hopefully ARM will prevail in the end though...
That's obvious. I'm talking about function.
In an utopic scenario where ARM took over x86_64, people would of course make stuff for ARM instead. Though it'd be really lame to not be able to run anything old.
But since an ARM takeover won't be happening in the near future, maybe at that point old stuff would be able to be emulated?
[editline]29th November 2011[/editline]
What's technically superior in ARM compared to x86_64?
Don't ARM processors generate less heat?
Arm processors use less power and therefore have a low tdp on average. The arm architecture has for the most part has been focused on low power usage ever since the focus change to embedded systems, which has led to the side goal of low heat output due to lack of cooling abilities.
The thing is (for what I know) Arm processors are not much of a match clock for clock with their x86 opponents. An Arm based system is very viable for web browsing and some hd video and music, but for content generation i.e. making videos, photoshop, games, etc. they are underpowered. Though seeing as I don't even need much more than my i3 laptop except for gaming now, Arm can have a really strong future in low power and low priced systems.
I personally think that after the release of WIndows 8 and the the rewriting of popular programs for Arm compatibility, the Arm architecture will most likely dominate the laptop and low end pc markets. I don't see any reason why someone wouldn't want a decently fast system capable of hd video with on-die decoders that can easily last multiple days on a single charge.
A nice little netbook, really small, ARM based.
The whole bottom of it could be a battery, it would have a little keyboard and maybe even a heatsink, just in case
The only problem I could see come out of this is fragmentation, though nowhere near the same degree as android with multiple Os versions and hardware revisions.
I just think the shear amount of different flavors of Arm from different companies i.e. Samsung, Apple, etc. would be a headache for the average consumer that can't even handle the differences between the different "i" series Intel has.

That is frankly my dream laptop. With a motherboard a little bigger than that of a phone's the rest of the space of say the lower half of a 15" laptop could be devoted to massive batteries that could power the system for days on end.
Go go VIA go
Pepper;33492889']Go go VIA go
Oh god not VIA.
not VIA, they'll mistranslate the name of the device somehow and the instruction booklet will be composed of pigeon english
And drop driver support for the product a picosecond after its release.
Might as well come here seeing the chat is never useful anymore, I have a assignment which is building a computer to customer specs.
One of the requests/comments "Has spooky power", does this mean the computer runs on battery? the house runs on battery? or somehow runs without plugs?
I have no idea what you're talking, I've never heard anyone say their computer has "spooky power".
I have no idea what you're talking, I've never heard anyone say their computer has "spooky power".
Exactly, I'm dumbfounded by the assignment.
Ordered my new 2500k/p8z68/ram/psu, should be here in the morning
Cya Pentium D, you certainly did not serve me well
Yay, my 3COM ISA network card just arrived, got the packet driver in and now I'm just setting up the TC/IP stack. I may be able to post from it tonight if I have not overestimated the text based browsers capabilities.
Cya Pentium D, you certainly did not serve me well
That's a horrible thing to say, you monster.
Exactly, I'm dumbfounded by the assignment.
Claim it runs off the lifeforce of captured ghosts.
