Wait, you still watch TV? Most people I know dont have a dedicated TV anymore.
I was going to say that but I was afraid to get dumbed down and shit. I can't stand TV anymore. Windows Media Center scheduled recording is the only reason I still have a TV antenna cable going into my room. [editline]30th November 2011[/editline] Can android tablets play WTV files?
Pepper;33508817']What is it with ASrock and wacky designs I mean seriously.
Not really relevant as it's pretty much older than time itself. And your explanation would probably be that ASRock is a discount brand.
Can android tablets play WTV files?
Nothing can except Win vista/7, convert it. Do you have a TV card or what for TV on your computer? And would it work in Estonia?
Wait, you still watch TV? Most people I know dont have a dedicated TV anymore.
Got a TV in my room. Great for background noise and watching shit from bed
Well this is really weird. I set my router to forward port 22 (My server's SSH port) from my internal network to port 443 to the internet. I tethered to my phone to my laptop and SSHed to port 443, which worked just fine. However, I tried connecting over the school's wifi and it didn't work. HTTPS works just fine, so the filter is detecting my attempts to connect to SSH and killing them. iBoss is fucking impressive, the school board's IT staff made a good choice.
I'm pretty sure we agreed you cant 'crack' HTTPS to see if it's HTTP or SSH
I'm pretty sure we agreed you cant 'crack' HTTPS to see if it's HTTP or SSH
If it's listening to things, it might start listening for the thing that tells both ends how to talk to each other. I might also be pulling the "HOW DO I SECURE CONNECTION" out of my ass, because I never studied how that works, but ehh
So my mom made a boo-boo and bought two little 19 inch ASUS monitors on black friday. She thought I'd want the other one but it's useless because they're both VGA only (the other one is for my sister, for whom I'm gonna build a computer soon for Xmas) She doesn't wanna return it ('too much trouble') but we cannot find a way to use it, as almost nothing in this house has VGA out except my laptop, her laptop, and a couple computers I have lying around in my room :v: So does anyone know of a way to convert from 1) an HDMI output to VGA input on the monitor (I know you can't just do it with a cable, I'm asking for an adapter or something) or 2) from component/RCA/composite (I forget which is which) out to VGA in for under $50?
Isn't IA Itanium? I made the mistake of picking ia64 instead of amd64 when trying Gentoo. It resulted in a very colorful VM. :v:
"IA" means "Intel Architecture". IA-32 = x86-32 IA-32e = x86-64 IA-64 = Itanium Other names for x86-64: EM64T Intel 64 AMD64 x64 Yeah, it's confusing.

Nice, every single satelite or capture card I buy has utter shit driver support.
I was surprised that this even works, I originally used it with an 800MHz computer running XP (So hardcore!). Then I used in 32 bit vista, it refused to work so I didn't use it for a long time. Then one day I thought "You know, maybe it will somehow work under 64 bit windows 7" and it did. And to my surprise,, even Media center liked it.
Shiiit. Media center has splurged every card I've thrown at it.
Lucky bastard. I've never had cable in my room. Shit, I just picked up the Apple Wireless keyboard for myself for christmas, I now have to re-do all of my keyboard shortcuts in games.
Lucky bastard. I've never had cable in my room.
I have 4 cables going under my bedroom door and out to different outlets and shit in the apartment :v: [editline]30th November 2011[/editline] :science: the timeshift works great by the way
The quality is meh, but at least it works. My ancient Ati tv wonder has no support on non 32 bit systems. I'm thinking of picking up an external one for my laptop seeing as I use it the most.
Westboro baptist church is coming to my city.

Here's a better picture to show how it looks: [editline]30th November 2011[/editline]
Why is the menu not centered, looks silly.
To not stand in the way of subtitles? I don't know, but I actually like it like that.
Why is the menu not centered, looks silly.
Because its out of the way and not in your face, its rather unobtrusive, I like it.
Hey, anyone here have experience in netbooks? Would there happen to be any decent netbook that costs up to 200€ and has a rather long battery life?
Get a transformer instead of a netbook imo. Mostly for the excellent battery life.
Cross posting my OC from LMAO Pics.

Happened to me at school today, true story.
