Because competitive FPS PC gaming in the US does not exist, not with the kind of winnings that the MLG circuit has.

what with counter strike it used to, right up until mwfags started taking over the professional circuit
Why are Newegg lists such a pain. I made two wishlists for these topics and It has me login when I view them. So much for fucking public.
I got my hands on ANOTHER optiplex.
This one is a 620SFF with a 3.4GHZ pentium D, 160GB HDD and a gigabyte of RAM
It sounds like a plane taking off.

Start building a tower of them
When you get 4 units high it might go through the floor though

I'm really leaning towards the G19 again, anyone here have it?
Why would you buy a G19 if you can buy a quality mechanical keyboard?

It seems like a good idea. You have a handicap (The controllers), though everyone else has the exact same handicap. On the PC, you have an unlimited amount of different configurations (Monitors, keyboards, mice, processing and graphics power, ect). It's consistent, so all you need to do is focus on the game.
I still wouldn't watch it, since I don't find competitive video gaming that entertaining. Physical sports are more interesting, since there's people moving around a field / rink and being a dumbass will result in a broken bone or two (Actual consequences). With video games, you're watching a bunch of stationary people push buttons to make things happen on a screen. I appreciate the skill that's needed to compete in those types of competitions, though it's just not as fun to watch.

Macro keys, media keys, LCD screen, backlit.

Pretty useless features, to be honest.
Pretty useless features, to be honest.
Not if you like to monitor temps and stuff as an overclocker and play during night, since I don't do that fancy thing where certain fingers go to certain keys
[editline]8th December 2011[/editline]
But I like to see where I type

Once you live it it, you probably wouldn't think so. If logitech made a G910 with mechanical, I'd buy it. But the LCD, Macro keys, and backlit keys makes it much more useful to me than a keyboard that is more pleasing to type on.

I suppose you're right. It is 4chan, after all.
Looking back I'm so ashamed that I used to go there.
Thankfully it's just an 8800 GTS and not something worth anything.

Not gonna lie, I occasionally like to sit down and watch a competitive TF2 match or two. I really enjoyed the strategy involved.

My PCs that are packed away are in 5 high towers
and there is 3 towers
Before you cringe though, they are all leaning against the wall so they won't fall.
[editline]8th December 2011[/editline]
I should build a cluster out of them one day.

Why make IE for linux?
So I'm working on my schools yearbook this year, and some kids wanted to use QR codes. I have those done, and linking to pages on our part of the schools website. Now, I need to embed videos. I can insert snippets of html code into the webpage, but I need help getting it to work on all devices. How would I do this, or what codec/player do I need to use?

We choose to make Internet Explorer for Linux, not because it is easy, but because it is hard, because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one which we intend to win.
