Prices look good to me, Inet is one of the best shops for components i know of
As for preformance for money, The i7 looks good, Not good with Mobos tough
I've been working in my room all day. I'm so tired, but so far only cleaned out like half my room and am currently painting part of my floor and letting it dry.
Left to do:
Take down desk
Clean bed
Clean under bed.
Assemble new shelves
Move stuff from old shelves to new shelves
Paint floor
Paint floor again
Paint floor once more
Move bed
Move desk
Assemble desk with extentions
Clean walls
assemble computer station.
It's 7:30 and I've been working since about 10am. Still need to do all that and it might take like all night.
Git has to be the most annoying thing to set up ever
First, most shit I was able to find about it was utter crap
And after finally figuring it out myself, Turtoise git just decided to be a bitch and freeze at "Writing objects: 100% (2/2)"
Fucking...

What are you talking about, git is easy as fuck to set up.
What you're doing wrong is trying to use a GUI.
[editline]11th December 2011[/editline]
Seriously. TortoiseGit is rather unstable and the configuration has to be done properly for any chance of it working. On the other hand, you could just simply git init && git add . && git commit to generate the first commit of a git repo.

My god this piece of software is a lifesaver, as most of you may or may not know the drive mapping built into windows is a tempermental POS.
If I lose network connectivity or I reboot my linux server quickly, I have to also restart my desktop to reestablish a connection to its hard drive.
Thankfully with this little program in my startup folder and pinned to my start menu I can reestablish that connection instantly.

I had to make a random file and commit it on the server to create the master branch properly, which it refuses to do remotely
And no matter how much I read, creating a local branch would make a tidal wave of errors
And I tried using other git tools too, which pull the same shit

Most expensive at the top, least expensive at the bottom. I'm really surprised, the Core i3 2100 is a dual core, yet on average it outperforms the Phenom X6. Now I feel like an asshole for recommending the Phenom X6 1075T to someone a few months back.

As someone who recently has, however much work you expect there to be multiply it by about 5.
Not to discourage, just be prepared for loads of work.

I've done it a ton of times already. I just want to do it again.

Not TortoiseGit, but still.

What
If you have a sshd running you could set up gitolite. Every part of the setup process is explained in the manual (just google gitolite) and it's easy as shit.
[editline]11th December 2011[/editline]
The manual even explains how to create new repositories (Clone settings repo, edit settings to create new repo somehow, commit, push, clone new repo)

Need to download it from github via git as far as I can see
Tried and it just errored all over the place about SSL certs
Fuck this shit
Today's top tip: Smoothwall is an unstable piece of shit.
I'll probably try that pfSense thing I've heard of.
[QUOTE=Tobba;33663579]Need to download it from github via git as far as I can see

then you need to provide a ssl certificate for it to use. It cant even connect in that state.
Fuck, now I have an internal conflict of wanting to try pfSense and wanting to try ZeroShell because ZeroShell has failover over multiple connections [B]and[/B] UMTS/HSPDA modem support, so maybe I could actually have something to put my 3G modem in and feel like it's being used.

??
pfSense supports my 3G modem, and it has multi-WAN support on a round-robin basis.
Guess I'm doing pfSense.

I just tried it and it checked out fine. TortoiseGit is most certainly your issue, the binary distribution of Git for Windows works like a breeze here :v:
