Ninite.
By the way, is there even a reason to install linux at all? I used Ubuntu on a low-resource machine, was good; but I don't really see a reason to use it.
When you don't game often, it can be very useful for everything else.
I wouldn't mind having it as a dual boot just for the fun of it, in-fact I think I'll do that right now.
Which is the best looking Linux-based system?
Obvious answer might be Ubuntu, Fedora, Sayayon or Mint but opinions and whatnot.
So my power supply died...and I need a new one. Does anyone know of some good ones? I can't spend too much on it
I know this has nothing to do with computers, but wingless made me laugh:

Cpu is 3.6 ghz and i may be getting a ssd / new gpu sometime.
My current psu was a 500w cheap brand one, but it worked for a few years.
My boss at work is awesome.
He tells us to keep all the sleeves that come on monitors when they come out of the boxes for when we have to move monitors.
They are kept in a box called "Monitor Condoms".
Depends on if you plan to upgrade soon, the 430w Corsair will handle anything up to a 2500k/6850 just fine but will be just moving out of it's peak effeciency.

I'd go with the 520w Neo Eco personally, gives plenty of breathing room for upgrades and efficiency peak.

I think if I got a new gpu it would be around a 560 ti / 6950, so do you think I should get something more than 520w?
well I won't just be snorting it gosh
I'm going to put it in water or something
And then injecting it directly into your arm.
I've been eyeing this thread for a few days now and I thought I would share some stories:
So, in my AP History class, we were doing presentations. One of the students brings in a OpenOffice Presentation file. Immediately, my teacher yells "What the hell is this virus, I'm sending you to the front office for attempting to break my computer!" Now here's the irony: He has OpenOffice on his dock.
About a month ago, the district's IT came into our AP Math room to add more RAM to the computers. When she opens the case, a whole block of dust comes right at her, no joke. It hit her at about 20 km/h, but it was still funny.
Now, last one. Last year in Algebra, the teacher starts up his smartboard and opens IE. He mis-clicks one of the links and lands in a porn site. He pauses the page and asks us to calculate the size of the vagina and we got extra credit for it. Best teacher ever, right?
I finally have my computer online, painting another part of my room before putting my bed together so I can dump shit on it.
the little blip on the physical memory usage is when IE was launched. I opened 3 tabs: Facepunch (logged in, browsed around), Steam Store and Facebook.

also if you guys want this cool shit (better than task manager, can replace it, etc. [so when you press ctrl+shift+esc, this launches not task manager]):

Of course right now I'm multitasking like fuck with Word, Chrome, Firefox, Steam, and Folding@Home on.
I never really got memory leaks in any browser, I consider myself lucky.

That reminds me, I was in an English class (I or II, not sure; ) and there was this one guy with an open office presentation, and I was the only one with open office on my computer in my whole school. Naturally the teacher was confused as all hell, and thought it was a fake project. I told the teacher that it was just an open source office program, converted the file to .ppt for him and felt like a boss.
Before someone says it, Folding@Home is running on my GPU, not my CPU, which is why it isn't so high.
Folding@Home is responsible for heating my room in the winter.
I thought about it and I don't think i need a new gpu right now, mine can run all new games on high / max. I think ill get a ssd instead, can anyone recommend some good 60/64 gb sata III ones, for around 100$ or so
edit:
I also decided to order the 520w power supply that David mentioned
Oh quick question, is SATA III compatible with SATA II?

yes
This a good SSD for a netbook? I don't use much dick space because it's more of a class computer, but I also would like o use it for other things.
