Ugh. I've had to revert to Windows Thin again on my laptop. None of the XP discs would work, they would all get past one step and sit on a black screen. It seems every fucking Linux distro ever hates the 2 Wifi cards I have (It appears the only 2 Wifi cards I own are the least support Wifi cards by Linux, Fuck you Dell.) just refuse to work so I've had to resort back to this.
Goddammit.

So dissapointed
Is it possible for Windows' defragment thing to actually do a good job?
Or did hell just freeze over...
Trying to speed up Zeriga's craptop-turned-desktop so at least one of us can use it when we wanna both play Terraria. My netbook isn't cutting it anymore. (slow, tiny res, can't see shit)
He set it to defragment over 70% fragmentation. Overnight it reduced it to about 1%.
Is this the real life?
Edit: Also, VGA looks really interesting in 1080p.
Also, VGA looks really interesting in 1080p.
If you have a shitty cable, maybe. I use VGA with my 1920x1080 monitor and everything looks 100% clear, and there's no ghosting at all.
It looks a little fuzzy, but not too bad. No ghosting at all surprisingly. Course, more clarity from DVI/HDMI, but this is still pretty good.
Which is incredible because this VGA cable came from my mom's 10-yr-old Compaq that was on 24/7.
Reason I said it looked interesting is because of the above normal quality for this kinda thing.

Appears to happen randomly, every few days or so. Sometimes when doing nothing at all (IE. wake up over night to see this happen) or when playing Garry's Mod.

Oh and, Windows is up to date, chkdsk doesn't report any errors, memtest86 runs 11 passes, no errors and ESET Smart Security 5 doesn't find anything wrong.
This Stop message indicates that the requested page of kernel data from the paging file could not be read into memory. This Stop message is usually caused by a bad block (sector) in a paging file, a virus, a disk controller error, or failing RAM. In rare cases, it is caused when nonpaged pool resources run out. Try disabling your pagefile

Speedfan does an online analysis, which is actually human readable. The only other easy to read one I've used came with Ubuntu...

I really miss the third video size option. It would pretty much stretch it across the window for me.
I also hate how it says Cosmic Panda ended ON EVERY SINGLE VIDEO.

I really enjoyed having a 720p size player. Why in the name of fuck would they remove that? Now there's no way of watching native 720p on a 1920x1080 screen. Goddamn fucknuggets. Aren't there any browser addons to add the size again? I'd really want that. fucking shit
Made this script earlier today: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/120564
Adds the third size option (and also new buttons for the others, so that they are all in the same place).
HD Tune pro is great for checking harddrives, try it.

I hate censorship, but to be honest, Internet without the Americans would be... kind of... a nice change.
