First thing you should be filtering by when buying a phone is your budget, then work from that.
Do you want one on a contract plan meaning pay monthly with including data plan? Or a one off payment?
Keep in mind smartphones are almost useless without a data plan, but you can buy the phone and data plan separately.
I checked the website and the range is pretty small, best value phone being the ZTE Score.

First thing I do when installing Windows, before it ever gets an internet connection for the first time, is nuke Windows Update. I recommend you do the same, you don't need all those pointless updates if you're remotely internet smart.
Any ideas what i could do about this halp.
ensure cable is secured properly, if it is get new one etc...

You think you've got it bad:

It's been like this since Chrome Dev updated, I assume it's an issue with CSS rendering strangely (happens on some other sites too, even with adblock disabled and shift+F5). I'm learning to cope.
looks like High Contrast mode

Chrome is intelligent enough to work out that due to the amount of time I spend on my computer my eyes are probably going to explode at some point soon and has hence automatically started converting the pages I view into High Contrast. Thanks, Chrome, you're a star!
Dremelled a hole through my computer case ( a design flaw) to try and help migitate the failing fan bearing noise
Gained a 20-30C difference in idle and gaming temperatures but GODDAMN this is loud
So i bought 8GB's of ram and wanted to try and hit that limit.

I tried the same, but with my 2500k (I do have 8GB's of RAM though)

Full virus scan + BF3 on ultra + Video rendering on Sony Vegas. Still got decent fps in BF3 hue hue
I feel like upgrading from my two 6870s but I have no idea what to get. Might wait to see what AMD and Nvidia put out in the next two or three months. I'm looking at two GTX 570s or 580s but I think I'd need to upgrade my 750watt Antec psu if I get the GTX 580s.

got $800 in one of my bank accounts that I never pull anything out of or put anything in to, so I'll be getting this soon with some of that money
that memory set is to match my current set for 8 GB, and I'm gonna try unlocking and overclocking that 960T.
Aha:
Oh, good. I have Windows Update turned the fuck off, so I won't have my internet clogged up with updates to a shitty browser I don't use.
Honestly I don't fathom how people can stand to use IE. There's a myriad of other browsers out there, every single one of which is miles better than IE, and they're all free and easy to install. Choose one already.
It's still awful. It doesn't follow many commonplace internet standards, it's bloated, and it manages to use more ram than Firefox, despite the latter having a memory leak the size of Oklahoma.
It may be less shit than IE6, but it's still shit, still only fit for obtaining a different, better browser.

Security hole fixes? Really? They break more than they fix, they make your machine restart incessantly, they clog up your internet, and they don't do anything useful. You don't need them, the only people who do are the people too computer illiterate to find the start button.
I've been running updateless since XP's heyday and I've never had any malware issues I couldn't directly backtrace to a derp download I made, and of those, last one was in...2005? And I'm by no means 'leet'. It doesn't take much smarts to keep a Windows machine malware free without resorting to Windows Update.
Oh, and yes, I have installed some updates. I have no choice if I want to play GTA IV, for some braindead reason SP1 is required or it won't even install. God only knows why...God damn it Rockstar, why must such a fun game require such a bloated update that breaks so much useful stuff on my machine every time I install it?!
I'm dumb because I'm able to keep my computer secure and malware free without indundating windows with gigabytes upon gigabytes of half-broken updates that don't do me any good and which only contribute to bloating an already bloated as fuck OS?
Riiiiiiight.

I'm not gonna debate it with you guys. You're more than welcome to continue to bloat up your Windows folder and run your internet meters up on things that do absolutely fucking nothing. Me? I'll just be laughing and enjoying Windows installs that actually work.

I'm not gonna debate it with you guys, because I know I'm going to lose. You're more than welcome to continue to bloat up your Windows folder with critical updates that keep it secure and run your 250GB to unlimited internet meters up on things that do absolutely fucking nothing but make Windows less vulnerable to malware and in a few cases substantially improve performance. Fixed that for you.
Someone make a pot to buy TestECull a title along the lines of "MY MACHINE IS UNPATCHED, PLEASE ATTACK ME"

Just render in After Effects. My 16gb of ram fills up in about 3 seconds.

Noob, hit 7.01GB today while editing in vegas :hehe:
My CPU is a huge bottleneck sometimes.
NFS World - FPS is really low. Open task manager and MSI Afterburner, see GPU usage ~30%, CPU usage 100% all time.
What the cow. Intel speedstep also does not like to clock my CPU to correct speeds and is just being stupid. Yes, it is disabled in BIOS. And yes, I have the power settings on Maximum Performance.
I might have to try updating the BIOS actually..

$345 sounds pretty decent, considering most 2TB drives are 200-300. Although it's 5900RPM supposedly.
Give me 7200rpm version and I'll buy 4.

Well it's probably got the same read speed as 7200 versions of smaller drives have, but with that, higher seek speed. Really more a storage drive than anything else
[editline]18th December 2011[/editline]
Not that it would be low performance, just a bit lower performance as far a seek goes. Hell, probably brilliant for large files.

The 4TB drives are no doubt single 1TB platter versions, and 5900rpm versus 7200rpm is such a small difference in power usage, but a big difference in performance according to some anandtech articles I've read. I'll wait for 7200RPM. Then I'll dump like $1200 on harddrives, I can't believe I said that. When like a few months ago it would be like 500.
