What is the best free program for scanning the PC for viruses?

Who was the idiot who did that?
I don't want to say, he's fairly regular in H&S.
This reminds me of the kid who livestreamed himself playing Amnesia and the first time he met the Grunt he got so scared that he fell back with his chair and beat his head in the edge of his bed, passed out from that.
The stream was like a still for 7 hours.
The 2500k is still a very good cpu at 1.6GHz
I need a new PSU. Sadly, I've got a strange predicament, and I can't seem to find one that will suit my needs.
My current PSU is great, it gets the job done, and has never given me any problems, other than this one.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/iX81J.jpg[/t]
I'm crap at cable management, and this PSU has 5 different groups of cables, from sata, to molex, to god knows what else. It's supposed to be a universal PSU, and it certainly is. The problem is that there are cables everywhere, and it's causing me a lot of problems. So my request is: Is there anyone that can help me with this cable management hell, or does anyone know of a reliable PSU with at least 4 molex cables, and 3 sata cables (4 molex cables for my fans, 3 sata cables for my hard drives)? It needs to be a minimum of 600w (as that's what my current one is).
Any help would be appreciated, as it has been bugging me for a long time, and I've finally come to the realization that it needs to be fixed.
The thread dies around 10pm EST, but I'll look for a nice PSU for you.

Is it a good build for <500$ (are there any better alternatives for that price range/am I missing anything) and which PSU should I get?

That should list all modular PSUs on newegg.com.
First, I would try some zipties or something to organize the cables.

Thanks, how many W should I look for?
I need a temporary upgrade from my amd 5000+ x2, found this on ebay for $55, should I get it until I get the money for a new build? http://www.ebay.com/itm/AMD-PHENOM-X3-8600-2-3GHz-AM2-CPU-Processor-HD8600WCJ3BGD-/220917216736?pt=CPUs&hash=item336fb135e0#ht_2619wt_905
I pretty much lost my hope
I can only buy a new PC if it's price+shipping is <500$
USA websites have a 100$+ shipping for a single part
Canadian websites have high prices and 100$+ overall shipping
Looks like I'm not getting a PC anytime soon

Bah, I've tried zipties. Either I'm really bad at organizing them, or it's really hard.
But looking at those PSUs, I saw this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341018
I bought that one a while ago, and I had a lot of issues with it. I think it drew too much power, because my entire room would lose power, and I'd have to flip the break to fix it. I still have it, and it still works, I'm just afraid to use it for that reason. Is there anything I can do to fix that?

That's actually a problem on your end, not having sufficient breakers or having to many rooms/appliances on one breaker.
Also, posting from #! and loving it!
A 590 is a much better value than two 580's for most things. Considering the late 590's overclock better than the early ones you could probably get close to 580 speeds.
The reason for dual 580's basically is for better overclocking or if you want the 3GB ones, which is why I went with two of mine. If the 590's had 3GB of ram each, I'd probably have gotten two of them.
In that case i'd never buy a 590 with a single fan/reference cooler.

Yeah, I decided to see how much electricity I'm using, and that makes sense now. I never realized how much power I was using.
My plan now is to move some of the stuff out of my room that I don't use or need, and then use the other PSU. Thanks for the help guys!

The biggest thing to worry about would be heaters, fans, any kitchen appliances (why would you have one in there?)
The biggest thing to worry about would be heaters, fans, any kitchen appliances (why would you have one in there?)
Well, I don't know my fan specifically (I couldn't find any info on it), but the average fan is ~75w, which isn't a problem. My computer/speakers/monitor/etc take up about 1100w, and I've got 1800 to work with. I'm going to move my home server out, open my window rather than use my fan, and use a small lamp I've got, rather than the overhead lights. Hopefully that'll fix things up until I can find a more acceptable solution.
I'm still crap at proper cable management, though.
