Did anyone read about what happened to Super Meat World? (AKA what the programming subforum and some guests did to SMW), it kind of makes Team Meat content for doing the dumb shit they did, and they said it wasent a security hole until their entire DB was vandalized, a backup was taken by someone though
Shitfest began here: http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1144771/58
(Someone cleared out all level and author names, for some reason, so I decided to make the front page purdier with some text)

And I made Team Meat mad:

We call that EFI or UEFI, Which is not BIOS. It is superior to BIOS. Pretty much the successor.
EFI is not BIOS.
EFI can emulate BIOS, though. And often needs to.
-snip- I obviously don't know my HDMI facts, rate this dumb.
[t]http://puu.sh/bo6a[/t]
I was at Best Buy yesterday and I saw this at the register.
Sorry that it's sideways.
If you don't see it it's an HDMI cable that apparently is also able to provide an internet connection.
Ethernet doesn't mean "internet connection" anyway.
It means... Ethernet connection. Which is usually used to connect computers to the internet via a modem, but that's beyond the point.

Either way it's used to connect to the internet in some form.

Are you installing them correctly?

Do you think I'm a retard? Installing nvidia drivers is as simple as downloading the exe off of their site and then clicking through menus. I just uniextracted the installer and installed the driver files extracted from it through device manager, wish me luck on reboot.

Just making sure, my friend downloaded GFX "drivers" that were actually malware. :v:
Also good luck.

No, it's used to connect and form a network, be this a local network or the internet.
We had to replace our router to get our internet working again, as our old router (Linksys WRT54G) fucked up.
As an awesome side effect, our download speed has increased significantly.
We used to max out at under 1MB/s, and after noticing that a torrent went really fast, I tested it on Steam.
I now get over 3MB/s. :buddy:

My router broke, got replaced by my ISP. I notice that this new one has far easier settings and actual proper port forwarding, forward my ports, check the ports to see if they're open, they are. Start MW3, STRICT NAT. Start googling for my router and if I did the port forwarding wrong. Turns out that while it has proper port forwarding, it also has an extremely tight firewall that locks up every time a large number of connections are made to a port, even when the port is forwarded. FUCKING WHAT?!?

Please read. I said large number of connections on a port. As in, trying to play multiplayer with a bunch of people, which requires a large number of connections.
No, large number of connections to a port
Oh that.
Yeah isn't peer to peer hosting grand?
My computers teacher discovered last friday what a BSOD was. He doesn't know what a BIOS is, he doesn't know what port forwarding is and he can't use the programs that we have to use.
How does he have that job :v:
