and then warship was never heard of again after the deadly fire that the 2500k caused
[editline]24th December 2011[/editline]
he'd probably be dead already if he was trying to get a fx-8150 to that speed

depends, how much fiber do you eat?

You eat fiber glass with wrong things man.
While we're on overclocking, I had the nerve to have a go at my Phenom II 555 (unlocked) a couple weeks back

I'm fairly sure I can't go any further due to what's most likely an unstable core (bumping the core voltage just heats it up and IntelBurnTest still kills windows), but does everything look okay there? I'm loading at ~62c. All I did was crank the voltage a notch or two and up the multiplier, nothing fancier. Got a 0.3GHz bump (stable with intelburntest for 10 cycles)
Happy holidays, H&S. Have a happy and safe one!
Christmas eve with my family.

Merry Christmas guys.
Still 30 mins to Christmas here, but who gives a monkey's.
Merry chrimbo
Damn it, seems my P8P67-M only has limited OC features. I can't even change the CPU voltage manually.
Are there any of these voltages I can change to achieve higher OC ability?

Merry christmas :D
I bring tidings from 1Mbit internet at my sisters (OH GOD IT'S SO FUCKING SLOW KILL ME)

Turn off Load-line calibration.
If I do that, do you think a 48 multiplier like buttsex suggested will work? :v:

It allows manual voltage changes.
It allows manual voltage changes.
Vdroop is a bitch when overclocking.
4.5GHz works with loadline calibration off. Well, at least it hasn't crashed yet.

You testing with Prime95?
Fuck, prime95 test for two minutes resulted in a BSOD
Fuck, prime95 test for two minutes resulted in a BSOD
The only time I've had a BSOD with P95 is when I started it and the voltages were too low. But it happened as soon as I started it, yet to have a bsod when running. P95 is actually quite decent as it stops when you get an incorrect value.
What is BCLK/PEG frequency?
Finished 9 hours of streaming. 4.5 of those were LA Noire.
1) Start streaming LA Noire. But it doesn't go into window
2) Find out how to window LA Noire and manage to stream it for 30 seconds. BlueScreen
3) Reboot, Steam won't start nor origin. Run LA Noire from .exe. BlueScreen
4) Find out it's a USB 3.0 driver problem. So I disable the 3.0 in Bios and reboot
5) Steam still doesn't boot, so I uninstall and reinstall. I LOSE ALL MY FUCKING GAMES. About 245gb of games I had downloaded.
6) I download a few small games to keep people occupied while LA Noire downloads for 3 hours.
We started at 8pm and LA Noire was done at 12. I stream from 12:30 to about 5am.
7) Tired as shit but love LA Noire.
Next time move your fucking steamapps folder Durrr
Next time move your fucking steamapps folder Durrr
What? There we no sign steam was gonna fuck it self.
Lawd. Turn on GPU rendering from chrome settings.
Go to about:flags and turn some things on and snowflakes will be
1. Less hoggy
2. Less laggy.
Thank you. Between gpu rendering and smooth scrolling chrome is awesome on my i3.

you aren't in the right area
GPU accel doesn't do shit on integrated graphics.
Fuck, prime95 test for two minutes resulted in a BSOD
try bumping the voltages up higher
waitaminute
WHAT.
so 570 SLI is better than gtx590?!
rebumpin

I take that back, this is way better.
I can't change the voltages faget. But anyway, I have played around with it and 4.2GHz seems to be the highest it will go. I think I can change the voltages if I install some software and do it inside of windows, but we will have to see tomorrow because I'm way too tired now. 4.2GHz is what I'll leave it at for now.
rebumpin
we tried to tell you that before...

No, you can. There's a voltage offset somewhere.
