Why would you care about economic when you are talking about an SSD inside a Nes cartridge?
Ok so how many SATA SSDs with size that can contain modern games can you afford?
So why exactly are you even using a SSD as opposed to a HDD?
[editline]26th December 2011[/editline]
or why not just throw a small flash drive or SD card in it and hook it up to USB / SD card reader
Because its true? I just got cable to my igloo.
I didn't say it's not true
I have(actually) seen two bears on my first week in Canada
They were just walking near the road looking at the cars

Good idea, I'm probably gonna do that with a 2.5'' HDD.
Well I was thinking that the majority of Canadian population is bears covered with maple syrup
I always thought it was just lumberjacks and mounties. That's not even an exaggeration, as a kid if someone asked me about Canada I'd just think lumberjacks and mounties.

$60 for a 16 gig SSD
BF3 is a bit under 15 gigs

Still doesn't answer my question
Did someone say lumberjacks and mounties?

I'm sure you fantasize about owning overclocked Quad SLI setups with 1tb RAM disks on a Tier 1 fiber connection
Fun, stupid plans don't need to have a basis in economy or reality :eng101:

referencing in one post the entire fucking list of selfish cunts I just finished reading. Do you only read the last 2 posts in every thread or something.
Me and wingless were talking, what if instead of rebuilding HDD manufacturing lines, they built SSD lines instead
You'd kill off the supply and demand pretty well

I facepalmed so bad my face hurts.
That last line is hilarious, it's like him trying to say "I AM IMMUNE TO ALL CRITICISM ON THIS COMMENT, AMD SAID THIS, NOT ME"
I wish I was immune.
Goddamn storms n shit.
My router fucks up after every 15 minutes. Shit sucks.
Well, this storm is supposed to come from Norway and Sweden. I would like to know how it is there..
So FP, here is a question for you:
I have a PS3 which I can't connect to any TVs at home right now (the one which has HDMI is unavailable, and the stock AV cable which came with the PS3 doesn't work) so I was going to connect it to my monitor (Dell 2007WFP).
Is it possible to set it up like this: a HDMI to DVI-D cable for the video and a PS3 AV to RCA for sound (only the red/white stereo cables will be plugged into a 3.5 jack adapter)?

I need special firmware so the TV-s would work.
IpTV is awesome, unless your router shits up.
We can choose from ~200 channels and buy them any moment we want to. Just click on the channel and then insert the PIN and it subscribes to that channel (Or that group of channels)
And we have like built-in netflix-y thingy. Sometimes there are free movies etc.
You can also listen to radio and there is some shitty web browser too. And some shitty games.

Arent you supposed to hold the power button down until you hear 3 beeps, too reset the video settings?

Oh well, you are absolutely right, although I think I'm still going to do what I said above since it looks horrendous on composite.

Cheapest SSDs on Newegg are the 30GB Agility or the 32GB Onyx, both for $50. 30GB is enough for most modern games. In fact, it's enough for several modern games - you could do something like the old Super Mario All-Stars cartridge and put the entire Half-Life series or the entire Mass Effect saga on one drive. If you need more space, a 40GB drive is $70-90.
