I believe if they are locked to a carrier, the price gets subsidised by that carrier.
Poorly shielded VGA cables most of the time, I can wiggle the power cable on my LG Flatrons and that seems to help a little. [editline]28th December 2011[/editline] In the meantime you can try screwing your VGA cables in tighter, that sometimes helps.
I'm using a HDMI cable. The VGA one had horrifying scan lines.
I'm using a HDMI cable. The VGA one had horrifying scan lines.
That really shouldn't happen over HDMI.
Why are unlocked phones always so expensive? They're never under $500, but I don't see why they cost so much. I mean, here's an unlocked iPhone4S unlocked Galaxy S2 Is there something that makes it really fucking hard and costly to unlock a cell phone?
Just buy one locked to a carrier and get it unlocked. Not sure how much it would cost in America but in England you can get it done for £10 in various places (markets, phone shops, ect.). [editline]28th December 2011[/editline]
That really shouldn't happen over HDMI.
I know it shouldn't. I was thinking that its something wrong with the actual screen as the lines are all the same space apart. Though I tried it on another computer and it was fine.

So you can buy the locked version and then just unlock it via the app..

The initial expense is just more.

Who else likes their second monitor on the left?
Who else likes their second monitor on the left?
I have mine about 10 inches away from my mousepad.
I don't like looking over my right arm
I don't like looking over my right arm
To each their own.
I have a problem I just bought 8GB RAM from Frys (2x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz, and my computer won't boot with it inside. It starts up for 2 seconds, shuts off, then turns back on, and does nothing (or at least visibly, the monitors show "No signal".). I force shut it down with the power button, and then tried again but nothing different happened. I then removed the RAM and started up and everything was fine. What do I do? Yes, the Power Supply was in the off position. Another issue, my Windows still recognizes my old OS from my last drive and tries to set up a dual boot setup, except I already formatted the 1TB, so there isn't much left. I'd like to get rid of the dual boot screen now. Also, I don't use the Quick Questions thread because its less active and General chat seems to wander around anyway.
To each their own.
Indeed.
