I didn't even know you could add ghz to a PSU. That's amazing!
Well it accepts 50/60Hz electricity, it overclocks it.
Why no case fans? Or are they just not installed yet?
He has a fan on the back, no idea about the front but it's some cheapass Asus case
Top mounted PSUs make me cry
Top mounted PSUs make me cry
Budget case eh?
Top mounted PSUs make me cry
I've had worse in an old PC The PSU was sideways, off the back of the case, meaning between the PSU and the mobo tray there was a big gap that hot air could rise through But there was no vent on the case, and the PSU had tiny little vents on the side :suicide:
IIRC, there was a Chinese microcomputer with the PSU over the CPU and heatsink.
IIRC, there was a Chinese microcomputer with the PSU over the CPU and heatsink.
I've seen computers made by Tiny that do exactly the same thing, its what I got my AMD Duron out of :v:
Budget case eh?
yes
yes
Ewww. Cable management much?
1)I bought it from some jackass for like 150. It's enough to keep me occupied until I actually build a good PC 2)There is absolutely no room
Ewww. Cable management much?
Well it seems okay. I assume he doesn't have a modular PSU anyways.
3)Rainbow fan FTW [editline]29th December 2011[/editline] My merge!
101c? what the fuck did you do
Prime95. [editline]29th December 2011[/editline] I forgot to mention that I think my heatsink needs remounting but I have no thermal paste.
101c? what the fuck did you do
Gave the heatsink the day off.
While we're discussing my cooling arrangements, could someone tell me why my CPU is hitting 100C when I am using one of these?

bad dog
By the way, if you have Wi-Fi Protected Setup enabled on your router, you might want to disable it. It sort of got cracked.
By the way, if you have Wi-Fi Protected Setup enabled on your router, you might want to disable it. It sort of got cracked.
Should it be disabled even if people within the router's range are all computer illiterates? Just wondering because now I'm a tad concerned because we had a problem with someone stealing our internet before we had a password, and they were like constantly torrenting shit or something because the internet would be down to a crawl and I don't want that happening again :v:....
By the way, if you have Wi-Fi Protected Setup enabled on your router, you might want to disable it. It sort of got cracked.
WPA2-PSK ftw :v:
By the way, if you have Wi-Fi Protected Setup enabled on your router, you might want to disable it. It sort of got cracked.
What?
And we don't have a router at home, only two hardware firewalls, two 24 port gbps switches and three access points (a+b+g+n)
What?
Someone found a security flaw in WPS. It's not a huge instant-break thing, it just makes brute-forcing efficient enough to be useful. Still takes a decent amount of time to break it.

I don't think you guys understand that wifi encryption protocols and WPS are two completely different things
I don't think you guys understand that wifi encryption protocols and WPS are two completely different things
I don't. Thanks for letting me know.
