I just wish he loopback address didn't look so abnormal.
Next time be sure to use the loopback address. I just wish he loopback address didn't look so abnormal.
Pro-tip: any address in the 127/8 block will map to localhost. So you could tell him your IP is 127.98.160.96, and it will still resolve to the local host. I really don't know why they assigned the entire block for that. Guess that's why they made ONLY 0:0:0:0:0:0:0:1 the loopback in IPv6 - more efficient.

The resulting network graph was quite pretty but the program wasn't quite... stable while scanning.
I was quite bored today, so I went to my friend. He had an old laptop, PI 166/64M with Win98 and my old WLAN card on PCMCIA. This is the result: [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1993115/IMAG0109.jpg[/t][T]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1993115/IMAG0114.jpg[/T] ^ DOS version of Quake Gotta love 320x200
Sad times. Content incoming. Yesterday my dad walks in rambling about the internet not working. I go in there and turn back on his internet adapter (Which he turned off, or something.) Couple hours later, he comes rambling at me again, and once I get up he says "FIX IT FROM HERE, ITS YOUR FAULT, I TOLD YOU THOSE GUYS ARE JUST TRYING TO HACK YOU WITH COMMAND!!"
Well that was odd. I woke up this morning to find my desktop in a strange state stuck between on and off. Wireless light was off, HDD light was not blinking but all other lights were on and the fans were turning. No image on screen. I started to panic a little so I held down the power button to completely shut it off, wait a few and turn it back on crossing my fingers. It was fine. Only thing I can figure is that a bad brownout made it have a freakout session :v:
Thread limit isn't 3000 anymore Nobody knows what it is.
Well, we know it's > 5000 (LMAO Pics is currently at post 5084), but the list of numbers greater than five thousand is infinitely long. We can probably assume, though, that post numbers are stored as 32-bit integers. Which puts our limit at 2147483648 or so.
