Bing is biased, communist junk >:O
The fact that they arbitrarily remove results that they don't like makes it an inadequate search engine. That's not mindless bashing, that's quite a solid argument.
When did they do that. [editline]02:43PM[/editline] I love it how it's OO's fault yet you still blame MS. [editline]02:47PM[/editline]
That's respectable. Though half of the people here hate OO for reasons that really don't exist. It's not slow or ugly, and I'm pretty sure it's smaller than M$ Office. I personally haven't noticed any important features missing, but I know there's a few. Also, I find it funny that the joke arrow is pointing to MR-X's quoted post :3
Not slow or ugly? 1. When I use it is slow and you can't tell me what I visually appealing.
I love it how it's OO's fault yet you still blame MS.
BUT its M$ and M$ is BAD bcuz they is EVIL my dog died and M$ WOULDNT APOLOGISE
Microsoft Office 2007/2010 is plagued with online activation. OpenOffice is free. They are both bloated and ugly. If I have to pick one, I'd say Office 2003 Pro by Microsoft. It's the best (and least ugly or bloated) Office suite I've used. I can even run it in Linux without lag. Open Office is okay in a pinch though.
Also, I find it funny that the joke arrow is pointing to MR-X's quoted post :3
I never noticed it did that until Panda pointed that out in a different thread :v:
Microsoft Office 2007/2010 is plagued with online activation.
To be fair to MS, out of all the online activation systems I've experienced theirs is one of the best.
I never noticed it did that until Panda pointed that out in a different thread :v: To be fair to MS, out of all the online activation systems I've experienced theirs is one of the best.
...with the exception that it exists in the first place. The problem is the activation system is implemented, not that the activation system works incorrectly or anything. It just seems M$ is the definition of the word "Anti-trust".

Adobe, every company that makes paid antivirus software, EA, Ubisoft, etc. You can't blame MS for the existence of online activation, nowadays it's just a fact of life.
You know you look like a completed utter moron when you type M$.
Why? They are the biggest software giant in the world, and they charge absurd prices for average, proprietary, locked down software. They are Micro$oft to me, because they charge you a new asshole for Windows 7, when it feels more like Vista SP3.
You know you look like a completed utter moron when you type M$.
BUT IF I BASH A CoMPANY FOR TRYING TO MAKE MONEY AND SUCCEEDING AT IT THEN ITLL MAKE ME COUL WITH THE LINUX KIDZ

I hope you know service packs are just all windows updates from 1 year since the last service pack in one installer. And the price of it's fine. You have to have money to get by, you can't expect people to have a full time job working on something and not get paid.

My ice cream fell on floor in redmond. M$ sucks ololololol.

You've got it backwards. Windows 7 isn't Vista SP3, Vista was an unwarranted alpha test of Windows 7. Anyone who paid for Vista should get the equivalent version of Windows 7 for free. Vista was terribad. But yes, Microsoft has and always will be M$.
How was Vista bad?
How was Vista bad?
the internet and told him it was and it didn't run on his mom's pentium 3 system
How was Vista bad?
Was too heavy on system resources for what you got
Was too heavy on system resources for what you got

mom's pentium 3 system

There is a difference between not running on low end hardware, and taking up too much resources in general
Was too heavy on system resources for what you got
Vista: 7: Same system. Same specs. Same everything but the OS. And I know what you're going to say: "But Pandizzle, look at the CPU usage olo" OOooo I caught it at a spike. 7 did the same time but I printscreened and it got 0% "Oil-o whatevaman" By the way: Both are SP0.
I run open office. I don't need that much of a word processor, and a clunky interface is tolerable when the other choice is spending over $100.
Wordpad.
I also occasionally need to make a presentation for school.
I also occasionally need to make a presentation for school.
Impress
I use it.
not sure if there's a similar thing in the US but in the UK you can get office for only £40 if you're in school, nowhere near as expensive as people say
Vista: 7: Same system. Same specs. Even MS themselves admitted it. I like Vista but it defo had its flaws.
*PICTURES* Same system. Same specs. Same everything but the OS. Vista was just terribad.
I like Bing. It only works good in the US though. It's better than Google at a lot of things. (Google fanboys disagree because somehow if it says Google, it's instantly a god product. Kind of like Apple's fanbase.)
Are you one of them Microsoft Fanboys? Going with Bing just because you know it's by Microsoft? [editline]21:12[/editline] http://www.bing.com/reference/semhtml/OpenOffice.org?src=abop&fwd=1&qpvt=openoffice&q=openoffice
