Hello, Long story short, I have a big project to put on a disk last minute and can't get to a store today. Is there a way I could wipe a game, music, or movie disk and write my files to that disk?
It isn't possible unless you have a rewritable disk. Sorry. Some email clients can send large files though if that is an option. I don't know around 4gbs however.
No. You could get a USB thumbdrive, or split the 4 GB into a bunch of smaller stuff with GSplit.
Nope
compress the folders then write to disk use KGB
Fucking A, Don't have a usb drive. I have a shitload of CD-R's but they can only hold about 700mb.

Wal-mart should be open all night go there, if you have that where you live. Buy dvds or usb drives.
When this debacle is over get yourself a 4 or 8gb flash drive. Might as well get an 8, they're the new 4 nowadays, and you have big files.
If you have an iPod, you could use that as an external hard drive.
You can use your phone if it connects to your PC.
You could use your Sony PSP, cell phone, iPod, USB stick, External Harddrive, SD card with USB reader, digital camera, CompactFlash card to USB, Camcorder, or upload it to a file host.
They have these new things called DVDs now. Write it to one of those.
Split it and email it to yourself and open the attachements when you are at wherever you need to get the project,
Split it and email it to yourself and open the attachements when you are at wherever you need to get the project,
It's 4GB. Normal email websites etc. accept a max attachment of 10MB. That's 400 10MB files. Have fun sending those mailes, boii
Well if you have lots of cd's, can't you just split it into several 700 mb parts?

Use WinRAR, you can split the archive to multiple files, and it has an option to split it by CD size.
