If it runs as good as Max Payne 3 i'll be great
MP3 did suffer from loading map every 5 minutes with unskippable cutscene.
Waiting for reviews is dumb, I usually buy games without even reading the title or genre
Time to get them sweet returning player rewards

Though he says he misread the tweet, remember GTA 5 had mantle support in one of the beta drivers for Catalyst:

Keep an eye out.
Damn, now I don't know if I should preorder. On the one hand I have no idea if the port is shit, on the other hand I already know the game itself is amazing and I won't have to wait half a day for it to download once it's out...
There might be a physical copy, just expected it to come with A LOT of discs.
Thats gonna have to go onto my work PCI-E ioDrive2, I only got around 30GB left on my system drive
You do realize that GTA IV was a console port and not its own thing like GTA 5/MP3, right? The main reason GTA IV ran so poorly is because of the lack of proper multithreading support. GTA V for PC was mostly coded from scratch to squeeze out every single bit of performance from your hardware, not to mention it also supports Vulkan, which is a pretty fucking big deal for low-end AMD users.
Just because a studio merged with another doesn't mean the 35 people who worked on MP3 for PC forgot how to do their thing.
No. It sadly does not support Vulkan. It was just a mistake by some AMD employee that couldn't read a 5-word tweet properly.
They both had 8GB on them and the game is only 16GB on my system. I don't know where you got the 20GB from.
Also who says they can't compress the data heavily before putting in on the disks?.
After all, if you're installing it on a pc capable of playing it, then it also have more than enough grunt to unpack it while installing if it's heavily compressed
But we even know it's not a port...It would be legitimate reasoning if it were a port. But it's not, so...
Just because it's not a port, doesn't mean it can't be shittily optimized.
'Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me' situation.
I hope AT&T won't get mad downloading all of this. (if full speed it will take me about 18 hours, but I plan to limit it, so it might be done by april 14th).

I feel bad for people who have to worry if their ISP will get mad for using their service.

Usually I'm not worried, but jeez 60GB, that's quite a lot relatively. The largest game I've ever downloaded.
Waiting for reviews is dumb, I usually buy games without even reading the title or genre
Imagine actually doing this, rolling a dice and picking games by their steam app id :v:
How many floppy drives would this game use I'm on an old IBM comp

Proabably close to or about 100 thousands floppies.
Damn, ninja'd! But yay I mathed right!
To be honest, I don't think an SSD is necessary. The game loads pretty fast on my Xbox 360, and it's really only the initial load that's slow. An HDD will do fine
Are you sure about that, I seem to remember GTA V running like garbage on 99% of Xboxes.
I actually wouldn't even be able to download this in 3 months without going over my data.

wonder if i'll be able to preload if i purchased a steam key from greenmangaming
I want to get the physical copy, but god damn. Instead of 59.99, it's 69.99. With tax it's going to be around $80.
That's friggen ridiculous. No wonder people buy their games online.

You don't get a Steam key from GMG

Already loads fairly quick on console HDD, imagine how fast it'd load on an SSD. I'm stoked for this, I need to do some cleaning.
For the millionth time, it's not a port.
Let's be real though you're arguing pointless semantics in this sentence. People use "port" and "version" interchangeably nowadays.

That doesn't answer the question.
You can preload on the Rockstar Social Club client.

Porting would have been them taking them the 360/PS3 versions, making it prettier and coding it to work on PC/Next gen console architectures. That's the complete opposite of what they did. (I mean besides all the assets.) They improved the engine, they completely overhauled the textures, texture resolutions, models, added a whole new perspective to the world and made it highly detailed in first person, enhanced environmental effects, and significantly improved the scenery. And that was the Next Gen console versions. Each release of this game has been a significant improvement upon the last.

He thought you get a steam key from GMG. You get a RGSC key.
I thought about putting this on my spare SSD.
It has a total size of 64GB :(.
Good thing I snagged a 480 gig SSD for $150 last night.
