I would say that the idea of a weather and/or earthquake generator is ridiculous.
Its hard to gauge since military research is veiled so heavily. Why do you think it is ridiculous? Do you know the hard science behind earthquake generation or weather changing? I don't think either of us do, so we can not judge the possibility of it. Why wouldn't the military research at least the possibility of earthquake generation or weather control? Just because its laughable(ridiculous) doesn't mean its not reality. Again, I'm not arguing that HAARP is a government front organization for weather control programs, but I am saying that none of us have grounds to discount either possibility.
No that was just me being pissed at an idiot. My argument is before that.
You are correct, I apologize for that misstatement.
Did you even read the thread?
did you half the people are saying the editor is partially right and they should rebuild themselves or should get no help. what they don't know is that making a self-sufficient country with over 10 million isn't easy as they think it is.
Why wouldn't the military research at least the possibility of earthquake generation or weather control? Just because its laughable(ridiculous) doesn't mean its not reality.
The amount energy necessary would be enormous, with a relatively low usefulness.

For example if you walked into a room and said 'people in this room are dumb' would imply that you thought everyone in there was dumb.
The amount energy necessary would be enormous, with a relatively low usefulness.
Give me facts, give me numbers, give me a ballpark figure. How can putting an enemy nation through a drought covertly be considered low usefulness? I think weather control and earthquake generation would be very useful to a government that often acts covertly since the effects can be blamed on nature.
Did you even read the thread?
he's agreeing that Haiti can't just fix itself. He's on your side. Stop picking fights with everyone.
Again, I'm not arguing that HAARP is a government front organization for weather control programs, but I am saying that none of us have grounds to discount either possibility.
no actually the concept of the military building an earthquake machine, and then, for whatever reason, deciding to use it on Haiti, of all places, is really retarded.
no actually the concept of the military building an earthquake machine, and then, for whatever reason, deciding to use it on Haiti, of all places, is really retarded.
I agree that deciding to use it on Haiti for testing doesn't make much sense. I never said the military built an earthquake machine, I only said that the ability to control weather or earthquakes would be appealing to a military and therefore we can not deem research on those technologies as 'retarded.' At least to my knowledge. But I would argue that you are neither knowledgeable in the realms of either present-day military research nor what it would take to generate earthquakes or control weather. Unless you are, are you?
Because people care about proper construction standards when they are starving to death
Because people care about proper nutrition when they are being crushed to death by buildings collapsing on them due to improper construction standards.
yo why don't we talk less about hypothetical military technology and instead go back to talking about how this Paul Shirley guy is an idiot and all of the posters in this thread agreeing with him are children?
I think that has already been established.
Still not as bad as saying 200,000+ people died because they made a pact with the devil.

Because they're stupid, cut down all the trees in their shitty country, when their neighbors didn't have it.
I agree with everything that Duders man is saying. Even if there was a smaller population, it's not like that is going to keep a fucking earthquake from happening. Does he blame the people of New Orleans for Katrina too?
I somewhat agree with him. It's still an asshole thing for him to say, and for him to blame them for the situation there.
I love how people rate me dumb without any sort of rebuttal. Haiti used to be covered in trees, now less than 2% of it's land mass is trees, so they have horrible soil erosion and therefore no way to hold back floods.

At least one man had the balls to say something...
At least one man had the balls to say something...
It's more like stupidity.
What a prick. He should have his dick cut off and force-fed to him.
They'll probably give you more dumbs now because you care about ratings.
Ratings tell me how people feel, I don't care what the fuck they rate me, but if you are going to rate me something, back it up with a legitimate arguement. If you disagree, rate me disagree. If I something gay, rate me rainbow. If I act like an idiot, rate me tool or box. I'll take 100000 dumbs anyday if I say something extremely stupid or ignorant and someone can prove it, but I dislike it when idiots with no claims come in here and down rate everything they disagree with.

Don't take it so seriously.
yeah you keep doing that in the mean time have this box
Props bro.
Since fucking when do Condoms have anything to do with Earthquakes
When I fuck, earthquakes happen :smug: Actually, I have yet to find out if they do :saddowns:
When I fuck, earthquakes happen :smug: Actually, I have yet to find out if they do :saddowns:
They don't.
When I fuck, earthquakes happen :smug: Actually, I have yet to find out if they do :saddowns:
And you never will find out.
for everyone saying he's a dick, yes he is and he openly admits it
you idiots would probably tell an amputee to grow a leg.
Ratings tell me how people feel, I don't care what the fuck they rate me, but if you are going to rate me something, back it up with a legitimate arguement.
Okay Explaining Haiti's numerous problems with "they're stupid" is an incredibly dumb thing to do Happy?
Well yeah, their country is poor, overpopulated, run horribly, and should be annexed by another state out of being unable to govern themselves, but does that give us, rich spoiled bigoted fuckwits that we are, the right to look at them and keep walking? Or maybe right now it's circumstances that they can't control. Like you know, the fucking ground shaking.
