It's not their fault their government steals all the fucking money so they can't educate and build proper houses. And it's defiantly not their fault an earthquake happened. People like this guy (Uneducated hicks) Deserve to be fucking shot in the head.
Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror
Haitians ARE ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR OWN NATION.
What a concept. :downs:

Yes, it is their fault. There's this thing called a "revolution", in which the people turn on the government to create a better system. This crazy country called the United States was born during a 'revolution'. I know this is a little complicated, but bear with us here.
Haitians are held accountable for their own shithole nation because they let it get that way.
Yes Shirley, this situation is as cut and dry.
what a fucking scumbag and an idiot.
it's sad what has happened, and no loss of life should be made fun of, but what the letter said has a point. It shouldn't have been organized in such a blunt and derogatory way, but not sugar-coated.
To be fair, we did dump them there on slave ships.
It's not the best starting point.
That's not a excuse. It really isn't. They were a French Colony for the longest time, a decent one at that on regards to a standard of living. They wanted independence and they got it. Then they drove the country into the ground into the shithole it was before the Earthquake.
The Dominican Republic was ruled by the French as well, when they finally gained their independence they didn't run it into the ground and even today after the Earthquake it's still a tourist attraction.
Since fucking when do Condoms have anything to do with Earthquakes
More condoms, less births, less people die in an earthquake, this guy really can think :v:

That tends to happen with any country who gets independence and becomes ruled by black people for some reason.
Not trying to be racist or anything, but just look at other African examples like Angola.
oh wait wait wait I HAVE TO DO THIS
Shirley he can't be serious :smug: :smug: :ugms:

No need to brag. "Check it out: racism combined with a woeful lack of knowledge about world history. And I'm not even trying!"
He is kinda right, but there would've been nicer words for that. Especially considering how thousands died.
Also, it's not like the Haitians can help it. Their president is a douchebag and should be given the responsibility for this, not the Haitians.
Wrong. Ignorance is a lack of knowledge.
Then they are all ignorant if they lack the knowledge to be ignorant in the first place, you backwards thumb-sucker.
Ignorance is Bliss.

So.
You're saying if they had revolted, the earthquake wouldn't have happened? Pretty much what you're implying there.
:colbert:
It's a goddamn EARTHQUAKE for fucks sake. You can't avoid it and you can't avoid deaths from it, no matter how awesome your country is.

What if there is a god?
What if there is a god?
That kind of has nothing to do with anything in this thread.
That kind of has nothing to do with anything in this thread.
Yeah, you're right, Paul Shirley can't be serious.

It's not the earthquake, it's the shitty way they ran their country, and if they didn't cut so many corners, there would be a helluva lot less deaths
It's not the earthquake, it's the shitty way they ran their country, and if they didn't cut so many corners, there would be a helluva lot less deaths
There would still be deaths and it would still be a tragedy. It wouldn't change much. It's not easy to reform a country. If it was, they probably would've done it by now.
Yeah, you're right, Paul Shirley can't be serious.
Gonna be honest, I have no idea what you're talking about.
It's not the earthquake, it's the shitty way they ran their country, and if they didn't cut so many corners, there would be a helluva lot less deaths
The majority of the Haitian population is too poor to afford enough food to stay healthy. The had no choice but to cut corners in construction.
Seriously. These people don't even have enough to get buy and you're criticizing them for not using earthquake resistant building techniques.
The majority of the Haitian population is too poor to afford enough food to stay healthy. The had no choice but to cut corners in construction.
Well, if they had less children by using Condoms, maybe they could afford more stuff.

Condoms cost money broheim
Condoms cost money broheim
A lot less than feeding a child.

I'm criticizing their government
A lot less than feeding a child.
But more than most of these people can spare.
Jesus you people just want to look down on people and blame whatever problems anyone has on themselves, even starving people in 3rd world countries.
you're all a bunch of fucking children
Haiti isn't poor because they're dumb, they're poor because they're in a ridiculous amount of fucking debt that the IMF refuses to relieve. Haiti wasn't ALWAYS the shithole it is now. The roots of its decline has to do with 19th century france struggling against haitian independence
This guy is just a fucking idiot. He doesn't have a fucking clue what he's talking about OR what Haiti has gone through and what haitians have to endure
I agree with him

Why don't you read the thread instead of coming in and posting "I agree" and nothing else.
If you read the thread, you'd see all sorts of excellent arguments why this guy is dumb.

Just because you're Gold doesn't mean you can push anyone about, comrade.
Agreed that he is right
This is like saying to an elderly person on their deathbed "I have literally no sympathy for you because you shouldn't have gone to war and gotten all those injuries, smoked so now you have lung cancer, and didn't eat a healthy balanced diet when you were younger."

We're not blaming the citizens, jesus, we're blaming the government
Blame the govt. all you want, that still makes Shirley wrong, seeing as he's blaming the actual citizens, which doesn't even make sense.
