Facebook spies on phone users' text messages, report says

i fully understand that people have the privacy violated, but in equal amounts i dont really care when this happens to me because i have nothing to hide,
Thank fuck for friendcaster.
A lot of apps are 'capable' of doing things like this, the youtube one for example asks for permission to record video and images, it couldn't upload stuff on the fly otherwise. Obviously companies could use permissions such as this maliciously but I doubt many do.

Not that I'm saying facebook doesn't do this, but I doubt a lot of companies/apps actually use legitimate permissions maliciously.
My game design teacher in school told me about this. At first I was like "Haha bullshit." Later on that day I though about if this was true. Stupidly I kept thinking that facebook would give my information to the police and I would get arrested, but I really doubt that facebook does that. The worst thing I text about on my phone is about weed. So I'm not that worried.
good thing i've never touched facebook
Dunno about all the people saying the FB app is slow, the one on Windows Phone is fast (and actually pretty).
What really sucks is that the Facebook app came installed on my phone and I can't get it off, I don't even use Facebook. There has to be something wrong with that. Does that mean they could access my texts just because the app is installed?

Because obviously we've all never had relationships with females like you right?
I don't love you anymore Facebook
Thankfully I only use Facebook for Spotify, and STILL consider the requirement to be bullshit.
this is why I use old-school chats, not that facebook bullshit.
Also that's why some girls won't give their addresses over facebook.

No, that's because they don't want you to know where they live.
The sooner Facebook crashes and burns, the better.
damn people still use facebook even when suckerderp said he didnt give a shit about people their privacy??
My phone came with the Facebook app preinstalled and it doesn't let me get rid of it. Does this mean I'm forever stuck being tracked?
No, that's because they don't want you to know where they live.
why do they give it over other programs then :v:
(like sexfire and skype)
that's what I was alluding to in my first post actually.

That's just silly because facebook already knows where they live, where they go to school, what their fav hangout spot is, where they get their weed, their condoms, which guys they've slept with, where they'll get kidnapped raped and murdered, where they work, what they did on that one sleepover they don't want to ever talk about.
How is this shit even allowable?
Terms of Service, that's how.
Really should read those instead of skipping to the bottom and clicking I Accept. :v:

Lately, I noticed that if your company has a lot of money you don't really get sued.
