Smoke phallus? That doesn't even make sense and i don't really understand your homosexual lingo either. But speaking of smoking i'm gonna go pack a bowl right now and get real real high and then watch a movie. cya
They are just brainwashed, ignore them
This article was a fine example of cherry picking. Let's roll out the real-world view. http://www.redorbit.com/news/science/372343/arctic_ocean_ice_crashes_on_alaska_shores/ http://www.nasaimages.org/luna/servlet/detail/nasaNAS~10~10~71195~176482:Ice-Surge-in-Barrow,-Alaska 2006 really did look like a good year. Also in a time when global warming should have killed the glacier long before.
yeah, i'm going to take scientific advice from someone who's possibly on chronic.
You know, on occasion you will say something totally awesome. I wish we still has the zing rating.
I just realized, how could it be secret if we could just compare Google Earth screen shots? Unless it doesn't update that often, in which case this post should be ignored.
FACT: People on this thread tend to abuse the capitalized word fact, followed by a colon.
Umm we're producing 2 % of the worlds Co2 so global warming IS bullshit.

Thanks, I've also noticed that here in the Northeast we've yet to experience a day over 90 Fahrenheit. I believe that coincides with the fact that we're in a particularly sparse sunspot cycle. Wow, the burning ball of gas that provides essentially all the heat to our planet can actually affect our climate. Who would have guessed?
Now I fucking love the northeast and I fucking hate Alabama. I wish I lived there. I enjoy the cold. But the rises in temperature are not easy to notice. There was a documentary on NatGeo on how "Six degrees could change the world".
FACT: By using your computer, you are contributing to the CO2 levels in the atmosphere. In fact, if any of these scientists support these theories they're pushing out, why the hell are they using technology? The use of computers, video cameras, massive research stations, etc all cause massive amounts of CO2 to be released into the air. I guess they don't care enough about their shit to practice what they preach.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_M._Farley_Nuclear_Generating_Station
I just realized, how could it be secret if we could just compare Google Earth screen shots? Unless it doesn't update that often, in which case this post should be ignored.
Google Earth doesn't show iceflows, glaciers, etc.
Google Earth doesn't show iceflows, glaciers, etc.
How is that possible? EDIT: Unless you meant... oh fuck it
An elucidating comment I found on Slashdot concerning the matter at hand.
You're told secret data has been wrestled from the grasp of the corporates and you're given a link. The page presents a pair of images right at the top, unavoidable; seen before anything is even read. Two images; one of vast quantities of ice, the second utterly free of ice. Global Warming has been implicated before you've read word number one. If you look carefully you might notice one end of a landing strip just inland in both photos. These photos cover very small areas; only a few miles. The caption reads: Sea ice forms along the coast in the winter, and generally melts or breaks away by mid July. Observations of sea ice position reveal considerable year-to-year variability. Changes in the timing of coastal sea ice breakup and in the location of offshore sea ice have significant local impacts: ecological, biological, and human. This image series portrays changes in the timing of coastal sea ice breakup, and gives information on smaller scale properties of ice. This information recorded over long periods, is required to understand and model the dynamics of sea ice and how changes or trends develop and influence other systems. In other words these photos are 'evidence' of nothing. Minor, small scale year-to-year variation in ice flow patterns. The use of these photos in this manner is equivalent to claiming that because there was snow on my walk on January 10, 2008, but none on January 10, 2009, my environment has been ruined by Global Warming. Yet there it is, fed to the reader at the very start of the story; no disclaimer provided. The pair of photos will now be repeated ad nauseam for years on end around the planet. Biden will have a blown up poster of these photos in his town hall kit by Wednesday. Fresh new memes the huckster elite will use goad "The West" into self inflicted poverty; "See? The planet is in peril! Man must be stopped!" Here is a recent and well researched report [scienceand...policy.org] on the $79 billion that has been spent by the US government (only) on climate research over the last 20 years. 19 pages and 52 citations. I dare you to read it. Global Warming advocates are not the underdogs. They rule vast quantities of public money. In almost all other matters you can take it as a given that around Slashdot you will find if not cynics then certainly skeptics. On the other hand if it has a Bush taint, a little anti-business flavor and it's wrapped up in a Global Warming ribbon you people suck it up like hicks at a Benny Hinn sermon.
[editline]04:50AM[/editline]
How is that possible?
Go find some ice in the ocean, google earth has blue oceans.
FACT: Volcanoes put out more C02 than man kind does. FACT: This demolishes the global warming as a man-made event argument Or just don't believe there is a such thing as a volcanoe. Take your pick.
FACT: you're an idiot. FACT: you cherry pick arguments on topics you know nothing about. mo fucka, do you see spikes of emissions? [editline]11:34AM[/editline]
And 30 years ago, they were screaming about global cooling. 30 years before that, global warming. 30 years before that, cooling. Seriously, look it up.
They've been arguing climate change since the industrial revolution.
FACT: thisispain's a sexy woman
Agreed, thread over Let's move on.
FACT: thisispain's a sexy woman
I agree, lets all go home.

I don't get all this bullshit with "HIGH-TECH SUPER MILITARY SATELLITES" Yes I understand where the pictures came from, but this is fucking google earth people, get real.
Should solve that water crisis we have been having. But fuck polar bears, I agree elephant seals are far superior.
Should solve that water crisis we have been having. But fuck polar bears, I agree elephant seals are far superior.
yeah, it should solve the water crisis to raise the sea level amirite
FACT: thisispain's a sexy woman
I learned something today.
Should solve that water crisis we have been having. But fuck polar bears, I agree elephant seals are far superior.
They'd have to desalinize the water for it to be drinkable. :downs:
in this thread teenagers try to prove/debunk global warming when they shouldn't talk at all because 90% of them have no idea what they are talking about
...he said, and then did exactly the same thing [editline]07:23PM[/editline] None of you understand climate modelling, and neither do I. For example, this petition can be signed by everyone, regardless of his scientific knowledge, still people use it as some sort of proof (?) that many scientists don't believe in climate change.
