I'd rather not.
Hater's gunna hate Is all I see in this thread. I'll be enjoying my overpriced DLC because I guess I'm a pawn.
I thought it was a "Xbox 360 Exclusive" DLC?
$1.50 off?! What a bargain! /sarcasm
You forget this is Facepunch, everyone here has less than 80 cents to their name and cannot even afford the original Half Life for 2 bucks.
Meh. I'll spend my hard earned monetary tokens on something worthwhile.
I feel sorry for the sad pathetic wastes of life who actually buy these map packs.
If 15 dollars is worth that much to you, I'd say it's you who's the pathetic waste of life, poor boy. [editline]03:20PM[/editline]
It's people like you that cause publishers to think they can get away for selling games at way overpriced prices, and then making 3-5 map DLC for 15 bucks.
I just bought both the Mass Effect DLCs (Kasumi and Overlord) for a total of about 15 dollars. Together, they provided about 3 hours of gameplay. If I buy this DLC for the same price, it will provide me with even more than 3 hours of gameplay. So tell me, how is this such a ripoff? It's really not that bad. [editline]03:24PM[/editline]
Am I the only one who's going to buy this? I mean yeah "$15 dollar map pack for a $60 dollar game" But $15 to me really isn't much. That's like... an hour and a half of work.
Most of the people on here throwing these bitch-fits over the DLC are either teenagers who don't have an income, or people who just jumped right onto the bandwagon. I myself am not buying this DLC, but damn, the people who are so intent on proving how horrible Activision is and how overpriced the DLC is need to take a step from their computer, calm down, and go outside for a bit.
This tactic is only successful because they are putting down mod and map makers who would be making more and better content FOR FREE. This is their way of telling PC gaming to go die in a hole, thats all Call of Duty does for PC now. Game at launch cost $10 more bucks then a normal PC game, charging PC gamers for DLC, not patching bugs, and never releasing an SDK to make stuff. Yeah, they can go fuck themselves. I didn't buy the game, I didn't even pirate it; so Fuck Activision and Fuck fanboys who let this happen to a platform I care about.

It's that simple. We just simply don't care. Because while they did not at all support custom content, there's plenty of other developers that do support us, like Valve.

Majority of people in here own 2-900 games. It's not that they're too poor to afford it, it's because they think that it's too overpriced for the amount of content the dlc has.

I would rather either buy the original game or mod the game with custom maps that look the same.
