You would develop a tolerance to it very quickly. It would be awesome for a day or so, but unless the microbes produce insane amounts of the stuff, you would cease to feel it after a few days of constant dosing. Source: I've done a lot of LSD. To even be able to slightly feel a trip the day after tripping, you need to at least double the dosage, probably even triple it if you actually want to feel it. So actually that would be a good thing for the anti-drug advocates. It would make you effectively immune to lsd.
Genuinely informative, thank you!
it might be THC but that doesnt mean its Delta-9 THC Might have different effects possibly all negative since its not actually the same structure as it would be from the plant itself.
Hope I can make some sweet ass THC coffee with this stuff
weed bread [editline]16th September 2015[/editline] NO WAIT WEED BEER

It is indeed Δ9-THC that they are producing.
I wonder if it's possible to make an implant that generates THC with yeast and, upon activation, releases it directly into your blood stream
Yeast infection?

I don't think it gives you a much different high or anything, just makes you less sleepy or tired.
By that, do you mean that weed makes you drowsy and the caffeine helps block the tired feeling, or does it just make you less tired in general?
Synthesizing weed alternatives should be the yeast of our worries right now.

Fascinating... Very likely a difference between people, but perhaps it could also be due to differences in the weed as well as different people?
Depends. There's two main strains, Indica and sativa. one is more of a physical high the other is more mental. Depending on your tolerance, your familiarity with it, or your ability to handle altered states of mind it can put you to sleep or relax you into a very calm state. For instance, when I smoke, I'll get high but feel alert and awake and fairly relaxed at the same time. When my girlfriend smokes with me, she gets kinda sleepy and quiet but very affectionate. When most of my friends smoke, they get very similar results as to what I get but certainly it's individualized as one of the group falls asleep very quickly while the rest of us handle it differently. As a side note, something that annoys me about a lot of people is that they believe stoners to be bad people or lazy or smelly or some variation of a stereotype. We even see that in this thread with someone calling for an end to "stoner culture" even though "alcohol" and "bar" culture are far more prevalent and far more dangerous, but they'd still rather a subculture they judge based entirely on misinformed stereotypes disappears over a factually harmful one.
As a side note, something that annoys me about a lot of people is that they believe stoners to be bad people or lazy or smelly or some variation of a stereotype..
All of the stoners I've met are this. In fact, I'm pretty sure the definition of a stoner is somebody who smokes a lot of cannabis and is generally lazy and smelly.

Seriously fucking pathetic. I smoke weed and I smell good, and I work hard, and EVERY stoner in my group is the same. But hey, stereotypes are good fun and help you seem like a smart person. I'd honestly expect more out of you.

[editline]16th September 2015[/editline] Hey wait, does this mean that you really can get baked now ahahahahahahahaha [editline]16th September 2015[/editline]
I smoke weed and I smell good, and I work hard, and EVERY stoner in my group is the same.
That isn't the yeast bit of how I would define a stoner. (muahahahaha) In general "stoner" carries a negative connotation to me. But what's really important is could you bake bread using this yeast, or does baking require a specific breed of yeast for the right amount of CO2 production to leaven the bread just right?

For sourdough brownies, presuming that the strain can be made into a good enough sourdough starter, I imagine it'd work.
Imagine a breed of Yeast that would produce LSD while being able to harmlessly dwell in someone's gut, and "infecting" somebody with it. They would be tripping balls nonstop. Man that's spooky.
That#s not how LSD works
Finally an alternative to replace the skank-ass "hash" that we Finnish people like to destroy our lungs with.
The word "stoner" is used to refer to the subset of cannabis users who are lazy and smelly and don't take care of themselves. It's not a stereotype.
That is a stereotype, just like thug, addict, etc.
I do this every night and I can confirm you don't want to smoke heavily when you're super drunk, that's all. You'll get lightheaded/the spins but cigarettes will do that when you're drunk too
the headrush is half the fun of it man, tobacco/weed in one go is intense crossfading is incredible as long as you're not drinking shit, got black out crossfaded once and i passed out throwing up in my buddies bathroom cause i had like 3 cases of mikes no bueno [editline]17th September 2015[/editline]
All of the stoners I've met are this. But no worries, it is a common misunderstanding.
