noone come to bakersfield its shit here
I don't know why people get all fussy over public-shaming type of punishments. I would have easily taken that over any of my punishments growing up. I guess that boils down to personal preference though.

Twerk is dumb word, it sounds greasy and gross. It's not like samba, or waltz, that sound interesting and/or exotic, it just sounds trashy and disgusting.

Public shaming is very bad parenting.
And this is probably the dumbest way to do "public shaming" who gives a fuck about "disrespecting your parents" I'd laugh at the mother if I saw that sign.
I think you guys are looking back at your childhood with rose colored glasses, back when I was that age girls were bumping and grinding on guys at dances. People said the same things "I understand trying to be sexy but bumping and grinding is nasty". Every generation has something like this, I imagine there was an uproar when all those damn kids wanted to do the twist!
When I was in 7th grade, grinding was the big thing everyone was doing, which was pretty much dry humping a girl's ass.
How did she disrespect her parents when they weren't even there.
I'm going to go ahead and guess that her parents believe in the whole "You are a representation of us" thing.
I blame miley cyrus. Cause lets face it. 11 year old girls don't know what carribean dancehall is, let alone listen to it. It's the ex-disney pop star that influenced this.

"I told my 11 year child not to do something, so she did it anyway". Christ, these people are so clueless.
There's a difference though. I mean you can shake and dance a million different ways and be very attractive doing it. But twerking? I've never once found it to be attractive. At all. It's a turn-off for me.
attention citizens of the world, you can now stop twerking and go home, 1/4 Life on facepunch.com said he finds it to be a turn-off for him
is twerking really that big of a deal? come on.
Those parents are retarded. Every girl is a slut why are they acting like this is rare and treating her this way.
I hate twerking because it's a stupid word
There's a difference though. I mean you can shake and dance a million different ways and be very attractive doing it. But twerking?
you think back then kids weren't going and impersonating this big new rock star that came out of nowhere?
I take offence to this.
Suddenly Facepunch is grandma.
she invented twerking more at 11
Cause i totally said that she invented twerking right? Despite mentioning its origin's in carribean dancehall culture? Where the fuck is the bad reading rating.
Standing at a street corner and doing nothing sounds torturous I'm not joking, I feel like time passes at 5% speed when I'm doing nothing
She can dance if she wants to
i dont imagine anyone who twerks in public is an interesting character full of great stories
Suddenly Facepunch is grandma.
It's because some people here are isolated teens by choice who just automatically hate anything from popular culture that isn't related to gaming. Anything to do with party culture or public enjoyment or even social networking that isn't gaming-specific (facebook) they consider themselves above, they see enjoying that stuff as being dumb or showing weakness so they feel the need to let everyone know they hate it. Things are getting better lately as people mature as a community and I know it's probably wayyy worse in other online communities but still some people linger.
Anyone else notice 1:25 "Punising daughter in public"
i dont imagine anyone who twerks in public is an interesting character full of great stories
Tell us more about your grandiose lifestyle
Tell us more about your grandiose lifestyle
im kind of funny and can hold a good conversation with most people and people dont invite me to parties in order to maintain a ratio "from the moment i saw her twerk i knew she was the one" lol ya rite. figures these relationships dont last. rated x for i respect your opinion
and people dont invite me to parties
confirmed
I still don't know what twerking is
i think this twerking fad is dumb but why would you punish a child for dancing?
