this is why we need laws that allow us to hold a certain degree of authority over police, we need to be able to force them to cite laws and verify their identities before we allow them to exert authority over us. Otherwise everyone just starts impersonating police officers and then you get that one guy who really is a police officer and bam your in jail for even questioning his identity
