I wonder what kind of car she was driving. Some can handle it better than others. For example, a wrangler with a bit of help by somebody who knows what they're doing can do some neat stuff. Just gotta extend a couple vents all the way up.

Of course they were pretty much designed to take this sort of abuse. They also don't do too well in crashes and their gas mileage is shitty but hey they look cool.

Well, after she was fucked.
The real right thing to do to prevent getting fucked: turn around, don't drown. There's a reason why the NWS hammers this specific line home.
Not a single person has said that. Not even the article itself even comes close. What are you on about?
At least 23 others have died because of the storms, but for some reason only her death warranted a special news report, because a high-flying student with a pretty face dying is more interesting than a nondescript average Joe dying.

Of course people care about a good looking person with open possibilities more than a bust out average joe. Why would you expect this to be any different? This is never going to change.

I actually never heard of her outside facepunch. News here has been talking about the 12 people missing.

I've wanted to make a thread about the historic flooding but I haven't been on a computer. They're still finding bodies in Houston. Up to 3 with more missing.

Someone didn't have a date to homecoming/prom this year. Really, don't be some fucking cynical.
