Hillary has the south. It's a question of if Sanders can seize enough of the rest of the country to make it up, barring any significant events (Hillary's arrest).
It's great. Sanders campaign manager made a joke calling Clinton a "regional candidate who cannot win out of the South". If Bernie wins MI tonight, which it's looking like he will, then that will play in so nicely.
I have a feeling at the bare minimum it'll be a case of Iowa. I think he's got it though. A lot of blacks voted for him this time around.
33% and he's still got a 4% lead.
Blacks I'm Michigan are more liberal than in the South so it's not much a surprise that he has more votes
Clinton is a moderate to right leaning democrat, she appeals to the south and she has the name recognition whereas Sanders appeals to a very liberal north. So honestly it's safe to say that the South/Bible belt all belongs to Clinton but the north seems to be where Sanders will perform strongly
if Clinton can't pick up a few north states though it seems the election will be in the favour of GOP if she gets the DNC ticket
I can see Bernie bringing up how Wall Street screwed over Detroit's once robust car manufacturing capabilities through reckless spending and outsourcing.
Cannot believe that there's a 5.1% margin at 43%..

the gap is pretty large enough to say that Sanders has it
I'm so conflicted on Bernie. I think he's a once-in-a-lifetime politician that we need to elect but I can't help but dampen my excitement because I feel like he has no chance now. Then I see him winning primaries and I can't help but have hope.
Michigan must have really liked his debate performance.
Woah.. it dropped to 1.6%
still waiting for 2/3rd of wayne county to come in, hopefully this huge lead wont be shattered
If Rubot does not drop out tonight he will be an utter embarrassment, Kasich, while he hasn't won any states is collecting a lot of votes and is a good 3rd alternative
Woah.. it dropped to 1.6%
about 100 wayne country precincts reported. I hope this one county doesn't cause sanders to lose
Whoa that Hillary jump, this is far from over
incredible
Sanders did really well in the debate, despite the controversy (invented and not), which I think helped him a lot.
gap is still pretty big but fuck this is getting interesting
Here comes the black vote from Detroit...
Bernie with 50% at 50% reporting.
Here comes the black vote from Detroit...
Can somebody inform me why Detroit is referred to as "the black vote"?
Can somebody inform me why Detroit is referred to as "the black vote"?
because the majority of the city is black
82% in fact
Can somebody inform me why Detroit is referred to as "the black vote"?
Because blacks have been overwhelmingly voting for Clinton through the race so far.
[editline]8th March 2016[/editline]
And Detroit is over 80% black.
This is kinda sad since I wanted Bernie to go against trump
This is kinda sad since I wanted Bernie to go against trump
More Republicans would vote for Bernie than would for Trump, partially because they want to see him lose and Bernie is at least honest

Not at all, Bernie running would lose the black vote for the Dems and practically handing over the victory to the RNC
Bernie (PBUH) won Dearborn, MI in a landslide.
Not at all, Bernie running would lose the black vote for the Dems and practically handing over the victory to the RNC
gonna disagree with you there, there are a lot of black voters who back Sanders but most are fairly young whereas the majority of the "black vote" are older people who are voting for Clinton simply on name recognition and what her Husband did while in power
I think Sanders winning would have absolutely no impact on Black or miniorty voters at all
Not at all, Bernie running would lose the black vote for the Dems and practically handing over the victory to the RNC
uhh, I think people of all races would vote to elect berne over any GOP candidate
Not at all, Bernie running would lose the black vote for the Dems and practically handing over the victory to the RNC
Why would Bernie running suddenly hand over the black vote to Trump.
The black vote typically goes to the Democrats because of all the Republican stunts like voter suppression and cutting welfare.
Not at all, Bernie running would lose the black vote for the Dems and practically handing over the victory to the RNC
???????
Yeah, because they're going to vote trump to spite the guy who walked in the Martin Luther King rallies??
Bernie up .3%!
