shmuck? that sounds delicious
I don't know if life's any different in NYC but down here in Biloxi, we probably wouldn't even notice if the police website was down for a month.
I don't know if life's any different in NYC but down here in Biloxi, we probably wouldn't even notice if the police website was down for a month.
i'm guessing the newspapers would make a slightly big deal about it, or it would simply blow over in a few hours (nyc inhabitant here) [editline]29th September 2011[/editline] or both
You guys do realize Anonymous is out there protesting too.
All they'll do is DDOS the site and maybe yell at the NYPD irl
Why is there protesting? There will always be taxes and gas prices no matter what someone does. Why reform and fuck up more? The USA is doing a damn good job for it's people and a bunch of basement dwellers think they can do better?
It's more about the lobbying, bribery, corruption and general economy fuckery that Wall Street is responsible for that they're protesting against. Alot of the economic strife we're facing right now is more or less the direct result of bankers and brokers trying to squeeze every dime they can out of essentially buying and selling money, and when shit fucks up, they don't really care because they get bailed out by the Federal Reserve. Shame about all the people that get laid off though, but hey, recessions happen. :downs:
1. 13 year old tries to be an INTERNET SUPERHERO by making a Youtube video with Microsoft Sam's help saying that the vague cloud of people labeled Anonymous will do vaguely bad stuff if something isn't done about something 2. FOX news shits themselves with fear about the internet terrorist group of cyberbullies 3. None of the boards, not even /b/, give a shit 4. Kid gives up a few days afterwards and nothing happens at all 5. A month or so passes 6. The cycle repeats back to 1. There you go, summed up almost every news article about Anonymous or 4chan. I call it "The Anon Cycle."
Not a single fuck was given that day.
its so edgy and cool to hate on anonymous on facepunch
pretty hardcore video for a bunch of useless douche bags it'd help if they used an actually hardcore voice and actually did more than spam and whine [editline]30th September 2011[/editline]
its so edgy and cool to hate on anonymous on facepunch
good anon is shit
1. 13 year old tries to be an INTERNET SUPERHERO by making a Youtube video with Microsoft Sam's help saying that the vague cloud of people labeled Anonymous will do vaguely bad stuff if something isn't done about something 2. Anyone see last night's episode of Community where Britta goes through a crisis because she's changing her life style? Anonymous reminds me of that :v:.
its so edgy and cool to hate on anonymous on facepunch
Isn't it reason enough to hate them that most of them are messed up in the head and like watching animu/furry/loli or whatever porn?
Isn't it reason enough to hate them that most of them are messed up in the head and like watching animu/furry/loli or whatever porn?
thats a dumb reason to hate, and don't make shit up like that hate them because they act edgy and cool but are utterly useless.
Look at how cool and mysterious we are guys No thanksss...
civilization existed without the internet, it will exist well after it also
its so edgy and cool to hate on anonymous on facepunch
people here enjoy acting like we're more mature then they are breaking news: we aren't
people here enjoy acting like we're more mature then they are breaking news: we aren't
yeah we kind of are considering anon acts like they are actually important at all, but can't do shit
yeah we kind of are considering anon acts like they are actually important at all, but can't do shit
the only 4chan threads you see are the ones that make them sound important the rest is pretty much a carbon copy of our GD/fast threads
I like how they played Inception music in the background. So cool and edgy, like it has never been used before.
the only 4chan threads you see are the ones that make them sound important the rest is pretty much a carbon copy of our GD/fast threads
occasionally a little dip into oify
I had to exit the video at 20 seconds I was laughing so hard.
Police officer: Hey Chet, come here. Look at these fat nerds threatening us
Police officer: Hey Chet, come here. Look at these fat nerds threatening us
How do you insult someone for being fat if you can't actually see them I don't understand this
[release]@NewEnglanddur They took down the video because it was "full of hate speech" and it "violated the terms and conditions of youtube". WARNING: Youtube is working in* conjunction with NYPD to take down any Anonymous videos against NYPD. I say we re-upload videos against the nypd and flood youtube. TheAnonMessage 1 day ago 21 Reply @conclavian2000 True that we had a dark and a regrettably "immature" past* ,no doubt. But from then we have matured into a protector of liberty and freedom and a "threat to national security" according to Homeland security. TheAnonMessage 1 day ago 6 [/release] im dying
How do you insult someone for being fat if you can't actually see them
Really loudly.
"War" Riiight.
They released classified police documents once, maybe they'll end up doing something like that again for the NYPD
And they MAY be able to bring down NYPD radio communications.
Reading this thread, I pictured a large, fat, 24 year old neckbearded, ponytail-adorned, acne-ridden man in a huge leather chair on his computer leaning back, cracking his knuckles, and saying, "And so it is decided." I laughed heartily.
-snip, I broke my own automerge. WTF?-
I'm imagining an army of fat 12 year olds trying to take down a squad of cops because of this. I wish that was a reality.
People who are intelligent enough to hack a website, rather it be an simple injection or a custom exploit to run a shell on the server are generally older individuals. You're just mad because you're a script kiddie, so you make stereotypes about age and weight when in fact smart computer scientists are generally older with college degrees and slender (from what I've experienced in the field at least. Fat CS people are rare. besides Gabe ;) ).
