Does this mean 8 on 8 Versus play? [editline]06:47PM[/editline] And on achievement for Booming on all 8 at the same time?
Sixteen player Versus would be way too much. I think Eight survivors in Campaign would suffice.
I am glad that they dropped the term "DLC". Sounds like they really listened to the fans on this one. [editline]11:22AM[/editline] 8 player realism would be great.
Four people and four bots (being able to choose any of the eight characters though) and improved bot AI is what would make me happy. With eight real people it would just seem too messy.

Like open gates and shit that they can't open. Something like the Asylum Nazi Zombies map from World at War.
Campaigns with 2 spawn areas and 2 separate paths. The 2 teams are cooperating in a way that at least one member of each party must remain alive at all times. Would be awesome to see parts where one "team" pushes a button that starts a panic event that the other team needs to run a gauntlet to stop.

This is bullshit, I don't want them to meet. Fuck.
Sounds like it will be paid
Paid even on PC?
This DLC should be available for L4D1 and L4D2, since all survivors actually meet. In L4D1, you could play the original four survivors, while in L4D2, you could the new survivors, but campaign should be the same.
Exclusively available for the Xbox 360 and PC,
L4D2 is out on other platforms now?
L4D2 is out on other platforms now?
Uh, yeah. This is news to you? It's always been out for 360 and PC.
Even though I still hate paying for DLC, at least they're not doing it EA style. Giving the prices of the DLC, a day after (or hell, before) the actual game is released.
If I buy a fucking game, I don't want to pay more for it after buying the game.
Get a job.
Even though I still hate paying for DLC, at least they're not doing it EA style. Giving the prices of the DLC, a day after (or hell, before) the actual game is released.
It's going to be free on PC.
Sounds very strange. [editline]11:09PM[/editline] 8-player co-op?
Would be awesome, but I'm thinking it's still 4 players. You've got 4 humans who can pick I'd assume the 4 L4D2 characters and the L4D characters are director controlled.
Oh god this better come out for the 360, Valve abandoned the 360 TF2. L4D2 better get continous support with patches and DLC.
Zoeeeeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
sounds cool.
Uh, yeah. This is news to you? It's always been out for 360 and PC.
What I mean is 'How can it be exclusive to the 360 and PC when it hasn't come out on any other platforms'.
Oh god this better come out for the 360, Valve abandoned the 360 TF2. L4D2 better get continous support with patches and DLC.
Valve hasn't abandoned it, they are just going to release all the class updates on the PC, then they are going to sort it out for the 360.
"Set in a small town in rural Georgia, players assume the role of the L4D2 Survivors as they meet with the L4D1 characters." Finally, a game based around my home state that isn't about thugs and "ganstas"
Awesome
