Google docs is great for collaboration.

Then why is it that when I turned on my computer today, I had IE 9?

Because you didn't opt-out of it.
Firefox too has auto-updating you can opt-out of. Just saying as a warning.

An opt-out is hardly any better.

I'm fairly sure all browsers have opt-out auto-updating these days. And since browser updates generally come with fixes, enhancements, and other betterments it's generally accepted.
When's the last time you used it? It's improved a lot from when it launched, which then and before with Windows Live Search and MSN Search were actually awful. Now it's fine.
Bing also gives you the best results as fast as possible:

The style looks kind of hideous, and it doesn't have nearly as much as google as. It's OK, but I'd still very far from Google.
Well that convinced me to stop using Google search. Hello Bing!
The music in the video sounds like it was made in Songsmith.

Do you use Bing as your default search engine?
Do you use Bing as your default search engine?
No, I use Google. Always have.
I just don't go around blindly bashing Bing. I believe it's as good as Google, better in a few places except the style (I like Google's simplistic/minimal layout better).
Bing has also been very innovative since its launch and a lot of its innovation and ideas are now in Google.
The thing is Bing doesn't offer any reason to switch to it. That however doesn't mean it's shit, MS sucks, etc, etc.
Also I've always found it odd how some people say Bing steals Google's search results (something that has been debunked) yet go around saying the results suck.
microsoft wrote the book on taking out the competition.
they took out dozens of the other companies and they almost took out apple
It's when people say ridiculous things like this that makes me wonder if anyone ever bothers to research their claims. If not for Microsoft bailing Apple out, they probably wouldn't EXIST today.
Open office is free, lets all get Open office.
OpenOffice has been absolute shit since Oracle bought Sun.
LibreOffice is far superior.
That said, LibreOffice and MS Office are about the same in terms of quality when working with their respective document formats. When LibreOffice tries to use MS Office docs problems can arise (not as often as they used to but still possible). When MS Office tries to edit ODF documents it just goes to shit.
The thing is nobody uses ODF. You want to do anything with other people, you have to use MS Office formats. So it's a tradeoff - spend no money or have a guarantee that your document will arrive in the employer's inbox or whatever exactly as intended.
